Haven’t been on FB much today so I appreciate you posting it.

 

I saw a lot of crew members from my last Rotterdam cruise that made that sailing so very special.  We’ll miss them and the ship and wish them all the best and Godspeed ❤️

We only had one cruise on Rotterdam, but had three more booked, which were cancelled.  Very sad.

We had two unforgetable and important milestone cruises on Rotterdam.  First we celebrated our 40th anniversary on her for a 30 day hawaii/ tabiti in 2011, and again we celebrated our 45th anniversary on her going ft. Lauderdale round trip to the med.  It was 42 unforgetable days.  We had hoped to do the same for our 50th but it is not to be.  We are booked on volendam, but it isn't the same,  and who knows if by our sail date she will even be a Hal ship or with all that is happening any Hal ship will sail.  I think we are on the brink of an "end of an era" and I for one am saddened with its passing.
