Not an expert but....

After cruise is cancelled, I think two options are full refund or 125% FCC. Maybe a L&S.

@Ourusualbeach will know.

That's true....only L&S before cancellation. Thanks M8.......

I edited my post as I saw your L&S. I’m not sure on L&S.

Ken will probably answer, but with all that's going on who knows for sure. I was told I couldn't move my cancelled casino comped cruise, but they let me do it. I'm thinking they'll want to keep as much $$ as they can and will bend a little backwards for ya...??

Royal has forced us to take an additional cruise in order to use out FCC from the cancellation of the Mariner. That is called extortion for sure. We had a FCC from the Cancellation of the Allure because of a hurricane last year. We used part of it toward our Mariner cruise  which they just cancelled. They are NOT going to put it back with the balance of the FCC we had from the Allure where it came from in the first place.. They are making it a separate FCC. We have the Vision booked and wanted to use the total for that cruise. Answer. We will not allow that. No you cannot. They are now two separate FCCs and you cannot combine them to be used on one cruise. They were one FCC now they made it two separate ones forcing us to take an additional cruise in order to use it. As I said. Extortion for sure.

I’ve been able to MOVE a fully comped (and my upgrade) cruise to another date from November to February 28. Holidays excluded.

If you were able to lift and shift it to a year later, then you got lucky

All depends on who you talk to.  I had that exact same situation Arise with a client and I was able to “stack” both FCC’s and use them on one cruise.

Is this a serious thread?  OP has sailed Carnival so I am sure if he has had cruises cancelled so has everyone, regardless of cruise line.  What a dumb question!!

Would you like to re-think your post, perhaps?

Hi all, just wondering if anyone has had a RCCL cruise canceled due to the virus?  If so what has RCCL offered you to rebook?

Have you been asleep for 4 months  and just woke up?

When our casino comp (with upgrade) cruise got cancelled for August, I called casino folks (make sure you get someone from Oregon) and moved it from August to 2/21/21, since end of Feb was last date. I then was able to move our Prime certificates (which now was extended to March 2022) which I originally booked for 2/21/21 to Nov 2021. It really isn’t a true lift & shift but more of a “take advantage of RCCL dates”. But yes, it was also luck. 😁

Thanks for the clarification.

We've been able to move  2   cruises to  Jan and February, and create a B2B with existing booked  2019 prime cruises.  ( original 2019  prime cruises scheduled  in March were cancelled in first  wave of cancellations).   Hopefully the 2020 prime cruises booked for later in 2021 will sail.

You are right about needing Oregon for  more involved  transactions.

I hope it works out for all of us. I’m sure we all need a cruise. I appreciate all you bring to the forums. Stay safe.
