Good morning to all!! To both my sisters 🌺Joy and Ann and to all who were concerned Roy, Rich, Jacqui Angel Cat and TIOGACRUISER thank you for caring!!

Took a long time to catch up on all the posts this am prior to leaving Mammoth!

A lot of smoke but we are safe no worries!!

Our fire department here helped in the Creek fire with the rescues of the campers and hikers at Mammoth Pools area.

We will be on 395 highway to the 5 home. All clear. It takes depending on traffic around 6-7 hours heading home! Tomorrow I will check back in!!

Paisley Shawn and our dear friends who are Shawn’s Godparents and Shawn’s best friend we all had a wonderful time!

Got to go now! Paisley and I are checking on our house make sure all is closed up!!

Oh my gosh. I plan our 395 jaunts so we go through there in time for a meal.

Southern Oregon here. Dammed fires are ravaging this area. Several coworkers homes have been destroyed. Man this bad year just keeps getting worse.

Thank you for looking out for us! We are safe. We had been camping for a week and the smoke rolled in and we got home this weekend. My mother in law had a transformer by her house explode and catch her yard on fire. She was out of town at a funeral. Good thing her neighbors were alert and managed to put the fire out. We don’t have any evacuation orders in my county right now. Air quality is in the moderate category. 
 

The picture is the view from my work window. Where you can normally see the beautiful Columbia River is now covered in smoky haze.

Stay safe everyone in Oregon and other states plagued by the fires.  Our Labor Day smoke (from states West of us) has cleared thanks to rain/snow yesterday.  Warming up thru the weekend so our fires remain in question.

I’m on my IPad most times for the Daily and I don’t usually have problems with pics so there has to be a mystery that we can’t solve.  Technology is wonderful - when it works 😉

The other picture is my sweet nephew who turned 1 this weekend. He is the absolute sweetest and his smile is joyful.
