Nope.  We travel almost exclusively in suites and have since well before 2014 and never ever ever had or heard of a butler on a Royal Caribbean ship.  Never

I just can't get my head around the concept of a "butler."  To me, it brings a negative  image of British aristocracy.

Agree...not something I would be comfortable with.   Kind of a "do it yourself" kind of gal.  😉

We rarely requested anything from butler on celebrity they do many things the concierge would also do. On msc they escorted you to shows and off the ship more like the genie on rccl (never had genie we book grand suites or owner suites on rccl) they made sure our table in suite restaurant was ready and even carried our drinks from lounge to restaurant, we had not requested any of these things.

Same here.  Not only do I like to do things myself, I don't want to be bothered with having to worry about someone "looking after me!"

With RCI, we've never had butlers and frankly, wouldn't want them.  We've had butlers on Princess (in 2000) and NCL.  The one on NCL spilled water all over my cell phone as he filled up our coffee maker then denied doing it.  I've had no use for them after that and really think they're superfluous like the concierges on Celebrity.

I do really appreciate the way the RCI Concierge escorts you off the ship to the tenders and also at the end of the cruise.  Those were really nice touches!

Hmm...now that I think about it, possibly my wife considers me her butler on our cruises. 😲

😄  Bucky is my bartender on our balcony.

"Honey...please fetch me another chilled glass of Sauvignon Blanc...please?"
