Evian water package

Quick question - is this the “fizzy”, carbonated water, or is it the “flat” water that is offered in the 12-24 packs?  Don’t want to be disappointed.

I dont see a evian pkg. This is the only water pkg I see in my planner. Perhaps you could tell us where you see it?

Yeah, maybe no more Evian package...which I'd always got. Not a Dasani Fan, tastes like someone dropped a Nickle in it

The Evian package was the big 1 liter bottles of still water.  The fizzy water the ships carried was San Pelligrino.  I hope they have not switched to Dasani, that is just filtered water from a public water source.

Totally off topic but I got my 6 day suite moved price protected to a 7 day one for 2022.  I am a happy camper.

Yeah, couple months ago say that Royal planner only had smaller half liter Evian bottles to buy in a Case. Now, looks like dont even have those just Dasani. Checked 6 Bookings on 3 ships so far only Dasani

Kool, Have 2- six niters and 2- 8 niters in July/Aug on Indy this Summer... Not that plan on going...

Don’t want Dasani water flat or sparkling. I knew people on here would be able to answer my questions

I picked up a 12-pack for $10 for my next two cruises.

 

That's a lot better than lugging a case around the ship until the rooms are ready since you're not allowed to check a case of water anymore.

Last year there was a talk that RCL would switch to Dasani water as their cans are better for the environment than the plastic bottles such as Evian.     

I haven't even looked at water packages as I usually grab our free bottles of water from the casino and stock up our fridge in the cabin with them.      

I agree, I find Dasani water in the cans - Gross and it does taste like a nickel!

Agree, Evian is much better than Dasani.  I always buy a water package as I drink tons of water and don't care for the tap water onboard at all.

Been using my 12 count for 17.9oz Bottles of Soda Pop, hold more then 12 pack cans. Been carrying Pop onto Royal Ships for Decades. Miss days when it was free with Meals

We used to buy the evian pkg until we learned as a casino prime member we got free bottled water.  I would take about 6 or 8 of them to the cabin everyday as we both drink lots of water too!

I thought that was only my taste buds. I'm not a water snob. We will buy what is ever on sale. Even the store brand has a better taste.

It must be a water district/source thing. I think Evian tastes like sweat. I don't dislike Dasani. But I wouldn't really want any water out of cans.

I tried Perrier for the first time because the convenience store was out of San Pellegrino.  It tasted like it came from a French sewer.

I think we are all used to the background taste of our own water supply/source. I should have explained that better. So all of these waters taste different to us, depending on what we are used to. Our tap water here is outstanding, comes from the Sierras, mountain snow, all that.

 

There is a large city nearby  on a different water utility. Their water comes from the Delta, underground aquifers, other sources. It tastes like swamp water to me!  But of course the residents there are used to it. It is one of those subjective things.
