off topic. Sorry for the reply before this. There is a message in the reply spot which I could not get rid of. Where do I go for a tutorial on using this message board? Ie adding quotes, etc etc, you all look like pros!  
 

The Fine Print, Looks Like May 1, 2022 But that just means it needs to be applied prior.

You can apply it ASAP to anything you have booked, including dates after May 1, 2022

Anyone order these over the Holiday weekend and still not get the emails with the card numbers, etc?  I figured it would take a couple of days, but I am getting worried now.  My credit cards have been charged.  ( I know I can cancel the charges on my CC, but just wondering if anyone else has or is experiencing this.)    Thanks!

It would be a lot easier to help you - or anyone - if one could see step-by-step what you are doing.  It appears as though you may be trying to type your reply into the area of the post you are responding to after clicking on QUOTE button.  Normally, you want to type BELOW the copied message you QUOTEd. 

 

I think if you hit keyboard ENTER key while typing within the QUOTEd section, it can cause the quoted section to post and your message ends up in the next post.  Something like that, but cannot recall the exact sequence.

You must be clicking on "Quote" which replicates the message you were looking at and allows you to respond if you type your response below the replicated message. If you wish, you can go below the replicated message and hit "Backspace" on your keyboard one or more times to delete the replicated message itself.

 

Why you seem to be intending to do is make a new message. To do that go to the bottom of the page** and click on "Reply to this topic." This will allow you to type a message without replicating another one.

 

** The "Reply to this topic" box is only on the last page of the thread, so if you are not already on the last page, you must go to it.

I would not wait until the last night of the sale.  I ordered mine over the holiday weekend.  I immediately received "confirmation" but without codes and pins.  I attributed that to the weekend.  Found out, by calling, that my order was rejected due to something not matching.  Phone agent reprocessed order.  Within 15 minutes, I received e-verification with codes and PIN.  

 

It was recommended to me to use the bonus cards toward any payment since they have an expiration date.  Then use the vouchers that have none.

I did it today. Had to get Royal bank approval as it picked up an unusual transaction, but got all cards electronically  within 5 minutes . Thank you for reminder to use bonus cards first!

If you once hit "quote" and then didn't actually make a reply then the quote will show up every single time you try to reply to something in the thread. (Been there, done that.) Simply select the entire entry, delete it, and then refresh the page. It should be gone.

 

I have actually "lost" a message I was trying to quote because I did "something else" while mid quote. It was just gone. Then, when I went back to the thread and decided to post something else, there was the dang quote just saved and waiting to ambush me.

 

Seriously, you are not alone. Just select it all, delete it, then refresh the page and it should be gone and stop annoying you.

I placed two orders, one for me and one for my wife.  Mine came through almost immediately, however, I did not receive even a confirmation email for my wife's order.  Both of our credit cards had been charged.  I called customer support (18339073079 | princess@buyatab.com) and they asked to reaffirm the information on my order and they opened a ticket to research the problem.  Within about two hours, the emails with the cards and pins and the receipt showed up.

 

You might have to try that if you haven't already done so.

Trouble is, I don’t know how to select the entire entry, delete it, snd refresh page! This is why I am trying to get a tutorial page to learn this stuff. I went to the forum assist on the Cruise critic intro page, but it didn’t walk you throug( this as slowly as I need to walk.  I will have to wait til I see our grandkids next…thankfully often snd soon now!  I love being old snd wise, but the tech savvy part is trying.  However…the “terrible two” paragraphs did not turn up on this…………thanks for your advice.

I use a PC so Mac will be different...

 

Use the mouse to select the text. Hit delete. Hit backspace to take out anything else.

 

Alternately: Use Ctrl and the A key to Select All. Hit Delete. If there's anything left use the backspace key to delete it.

 

You can refresh the page using the F5 key on a PC. Browsers have a page refresh button. In Firefox it looks like this:

I didn’t have any problems with my purchase  of gift cards plus bonus cards.  As soon as I hit purchase my phone rang from VISA confirming the purchase.  All emails came through with cards and bonus cards.

I ordered my $500 card this morning.  This is the third time I've purchased with a bonus card.  The first two times I didn't receive the bonus digital cards.  I waited a month and finally emailed customer relations.  In each case, I got the bonus cards a couple of days later.  This morning, I got the bonus cards in about 5 minutes after the purchase of the plastic ones.  Now, I'm just waiting for the plastic one in the mail.

No error messages nor problems this morning.  I ordered 500 x 4 E-Gift Cards this morning at 3:54 am PT (Friday 6:54 am ET); I received by email the receipt at 3:55 AM, followed by the 4 gift cards (4 emails) and bonus cards (1 email) at 3:57 AM.

Same here.. Did they Princess Visa Card give you double points because they were Princess Gift Cards? I didn't get double...at this point trying to convince them that they should!

My July statement just posted this morning.  The first transaction is listed; I only received 2000 points for the $2000 order.

 

The transaction description is "Buyatab - Pr 8339073079  604-678-3275 DE".

 

Guess we need to call someone!

I purchased $1000 during Mother’s Day promo and received 2000 points

My statement reads differently maybes because it has posted but it reads the merchant as Princess Cruises

and Merchant location CA and then just a phone number

It appears the description may have been changed so that Barclays cannot identify the transaction as a Princess transaction.

  • I called Princess BarclayCard at 1-302-255-888 and opened a ticket with "Jake"; their Research Team should get back to me within 10 to 15 days.
     
  • I then called Princess Gift Card Support at 1-833-907-3079 (this is at Buyatab) and opened a ticket with "Sharon"; their support staff (princess@buyatab.com) should get back to me in 24 to 48 hours.  Sharon agreed with me that the transaction description probably was changed since the promo in May; she is documenting that the transaction description now begins with "Buyatab - Pr " when it should begin with "Buyatab - Princess " [in hopes that BarclayCard will identify these transactions as Princess-related].
