OK Clemson Cruiser....Wakey!! Wakey!!😁

Or as Wee Jimmy would say.... "Good morning. I said GOOD MORNING" over the pa system, into the cabins on debarkation morning. Only two sailings with him, and I quickly grew to associate those words and his intonation as a twisting knife!

Your right!! very tired yesterday and put down the wrong name...However it's still one of my favorites..

and the People of Grenada are still thankful to us for helping them out back in the 80's

I was also aware that 7 mile beach was in Grand Cayman, but I always assume that yet another victim of autocorrect has been found, so I extend grace.  Fortunately, having been a victim of autocorrect more times than I have fingers and toes, I've also learned to read autocorrect correctly LOL ; )

FLL has a bomb threat.  Airport shut down and not allowing anyone in.  Have been waiting in line at the airport for 30 plus min.

embarkation was a breeze.  Wait for them to call your zone and no problems.

Oh boy - a nice twist at the end. Hang in there, and thanks again for all the info!

Who would have thought that it wouldn't be the cruise that would have drama, it would be the airport while trying to fly home?  I saw this on the news and hope things get resolved soon.

Ok, we are now home.  Myrtle Beach, land of the Sun your buns, and bring your Guns 😂

Some takeaways from the cruise.  After 20 plus cruises, this will be the one I will never forget.  The feeling that cruising is back after such a long hiatus.  The enthusiasm of the staff, the energy of the passengers, and the freshly prepared food that I didn’t have to cook.  I hope that I see less complaining and more joy in the cruise future, because we all know that it’s a privilege and not a right.

I should have the after cruise blues now, but do not.  I am so glad that someone, anyone, is cruising.  We are getting back to normal.

Cound not agree more! Almost 50 cruises, and the menories of this particular sailing will stay with me for a very long time. ENTHUSIASM, ENERGY, EXUBERANCE, EXHILARATION, even EUPHORIA (can't think of any other "E" words) all describe the feeling among the staff and pax on the Horizon last week. There were a few "hiccups" during the week, but as far as I was concerned, after not cruising for 16 months, everyone got a free pass. If you kept the thought in the back of your mind that, three weeks ago, we all just wanted to get on a ship... Carnival did a great job with the startup.

Thank you, for your live review. I live in Miami  I have 2 cruises booked CCL and MSC for late October and  December.

Glad everything is back to normal.

It’s Carnival - how about some Elation and Ecstasy? 😀

Intrepid will be seeing you on the Sept 12th sailing. Coming down from Plymouth Ma. Starting to really look forward now that sails resumed

Awesome, I hope we connect.  Do you play any casino games?  We tend to just let the days carry us, looking down at the fun times schedule from time to time.  It's me and my daughter.  This will be her first cruise that she can drink alcohol on, clear the decks and guard your feet on the dance floor!

I recall something about no tournaments presently. Do you recall if there was any alternate perk (for Diamond/Platinum) mentioned? I can't recall  🙂

Tom,  I believe there was something sent just recently about that. If memory serves there is a $25 pp casino credit in lieu of standard free tourney entry fee.
