GUT2407 is simply reporting that overseas pax can join the Shine Lawyers class action. I am sure he doesn't work for Shine so therefore he isn't soliciting. By The Bay Posted January 7, 2022 #12 Share Posted January 7, 2022 Victoria is not to be outdone with 51,356 cases. Will the Australian Open still allow crowds?
By The Bay Posted January 7, 2022 #13 Share Posted January 7, 2022 Victoria's 51,356 were from more than 89,000 tests. A better strike rate than NSW.

To clarify - Victoria's cases included 26,428 RATs which 5,923 were from yesterday and the remainder from other days this week. There were 24,928 positive PCR results from 89,000 tests. Yesterday was the first day that Victorians could enter their RAT positive results on the system. This now gives a much better idea of how much Covid is in the Victorian community. I belive NSW will now start doing the same.
Rare OzKiwiJJ Posted January 7, 2022 #15 Share Posted January 7, 2022 Yes, the NSW RAT reporting system is due to come online sometime next week. We'll probably get a similar spike in numbers as VIC did today, as people report tests taken over the previous few days. It will certainly help to give a more accurate picture of how much Covid really is in the community as the PCR test results are lagging behind due to slow processing.
NSWP Posted January 8, 2022 #16 Share Posted January 8, 2022 The Doctor on Sunrise TV show said this morning, take the positive cases reported and multiply by 10, that is how many people have it. That is a lot of peeps.
