Live from Celebrity Apex Sept 25th & Oct 3rd B2B!

Hi All, 

 

Some might remember I tend to do a “live from” my cruises, if not I’ve done a few the last few years… 

 

Anyway, I’ve been thinking whether or not to do one on these cruises as to be honest miaminice did such a great job on a previous Apex cruise I wasn’t really sure what I could offer… but I guess I’ll start one and you are all welcome to jump in and ask any questions you’d like me to try and find the answers to… pop along and ask, look, share or post with me, however you’d like to be involved works for me 🍸😎

 

A little about us… I’m an Englishman living in Hudson - Quebec with my amazing Canadian wife (Scrappytraveller-Julie) who truly is the best thing to ever happen to me. We’ve been on a few cruises (20 +) with most being on celebrity as we love the product they offer and fits us very well, We are not party animals but do like a martini and a visit to the casino after dinner… we go to the odd show but not all but maybe on these cruises we might try more as it’s a new ship/class for us. We love anything Greece so really excited to be heading that way again to eat more yummy Greece dishes 😋

 

My live from blogs… i tend to cover everything we do and all the menus etc, however as mentioned miaminice did such a great job on that I feel it might be overkill to do them all again especially as it was only a couple of weeks ago he did his live from… anyway if anyone wants anything again just ask and I will do my best… I do also tend to post pictures of our personal trip experiences so please feel free to scroll past if they don’t appeal to you…. FYI there will be pics of my sunbathing feet and various pool cocktails 😂

 

Questions - Please feel free to throw as many questions as you want in my direction and I will try my best to answer, for sure I will try to find out any info I can on the following Oct 10th transatlantic crossing as it’s somewhat personal to me as we had that booked for ages until we had to cancel a week ago. 
 

So, it’s Tuesday and we leave on Thursday for our connecting flight Montreal to Athens via Zurich, luckily we are in business class so that’s exciting in itself for us as although we’ve been lucky a few time to fly B/C it certainly isn’t the normal for us 😊

 

Now, with the above info wrote let’s get this thing started and the countdown clock started for our first flight ✈️ 🍸😎

Can't wait to cruise with you in spirit! I doubt there will be much content that any of us would be bored seeing or reading.  I'm hungry for cruising...even if someone else is doing the eating!!

Yes, I'm interested.  My husband and I are new to Celebrity but have cruised all the new RCCL and Norwegian ships.  We wanted to try something different so any tips would be helpful.

Hiya we will be joining you on this cruise! Very excited to fly out from Heathrow tomorrow to Athens. If you see me lurking around the Martini or Sunset bar please come over and introduce yourself. My name is Saffron and husband is Malcolm and we live in Sussex. I’m not entirely sure how many cruises we have done, but we were on a staycation cruise on Silhouette in June which was fun, didn’t even get off the boat for 6 days, Celebrity excursions only on that trip. The only thing I haven’t got my head around is what to do on each island, don’t like organised excursions prefer to do my own thing!

Following......can't wait to read your reviews.  I love photos.....especially menus and food!  We will be on the Apex in May 2022 which seems like a long time from now....

Thanks, yes it’s been a bit stressful over the last month or so but yes we are super excited to be able to make this trip happen 😎

At least that way I’m the one putting on the lbs…. You can just think about guilt free 😂

Cool, we were on the escape first 2 cruises and loved it, done a few NCLs and 1 royal and a few others and love them all ☺️ Hope I can convince you to jump onboard celebrity, it’s really a great product & amazing crew 😊

Just found out we were successful in our move up bid 😁 nothing major but as this was a last minute booking we only booked an inside with our fingers crossed for the move up program working out for us! 😊 so now at least we have a balcony 👍🏻😊

Hi and thanks.  We are looking forward to following your posts as we are on the Apex later this year.  Given all the "discussion" regarding the Infinity Verandahs we are interested in your first and lasting impressions.  Have a great sail!
