I just looked up Jan 20.  There are no Balconies, no JS and only one GS at $12,600.  Not looking good. 😕

Wow!  I guess they had a lot of bookings prior to the end of the double point promo on 9.30.  We booked in september and there was plenty of balconies and a couple JS.

Departure was fast and easy. Don't know for sure but with capacity down right now, following departure time is not a big deal. 

 

 

And eventually you have to deal with this feeling. 

 

 

Picking up bags is real easy.  We have taken our bags ourselves before but didn't want to deal with it this time.  The only crowd was those wanting to carry them out for you.

I am still going to watch it.  I remember this cruise showed all booked about the time our friends wanted to cruise with us. A week or two later it opened back up with a bunch of options. Please, if you see it open up let us know.

John, which cruise you're interested in that's fully booked, and which cabins would you like? My TA has a very friendly site, and I can easily follow up on this.

We talked awhile with a security guy.  He said many flights are canceled do to a lack of workers.  If that is so, why offer so many when you can't handle them.  I now they have to offer them in advance but wow.  Seems like offer some and when they are filling up offer more.  When flying to vacation my TA books early flights that also offer later fights in the day in case something happens. 

We booked to arrive a day before cruising.  It will be less stressful to book two days early. The is much to see and do in Miami.

Indeed, no balconies, and suites at exorbitant prices.

 

Only OV guarantees for now.

Thanks. So kind. Let me discuss with Sharon and I will let you know on your thread.  We have gone TA before but prefer booking direct.  Not ruling out your TA.

The place we are sitting was  completely empty like a ghost town. Now many people are passing through.  I said to Sharon that I was hearing no English.  She then pointed to a sign across the room.

It's neat watching family and friends meeting each other at the airport.  Lots of hugs and smiles.

We had our last dinner on board at Chops and it didn't disappoint.  When we first arrived not many pax but eventually it filled up.  Great atmosphere. 

 

 

 

 

 

Some pics I didn't get because it looked so good we jumped into it. First was the bread.  I had the pretzel bread and it was so good I am making it when I get home. 

 

 

Then the Appetizers arrived.  The Colossal Shrimp was not as big as I remember but was good.

Will do as I regularly our booked cruises for price reductions.

Next the soup and salad.  I had the Lobster Bisque. It was good but salty.  If you wander how salt tolerant I am, I used to salt ice cubes, or sprinkle some sea salt in my mouth.  This stuff was salty.  My TA had the Goat Cheese Salad which was really good.

 

 

 

For the main coarse the guys got the Ribeye and the gals the Filet.  For sides, a baked potato, and sharable portions of Grilled Jumbo Asparagus and Sautéed Mushrooms. The Filet was very tender mild taste and the Ribeye was tender and great taste.  Very seldom do I think a restaurant steak is as good as a personally prepared steak but Chops steaks are good. 

 

 

 

 

Then dessert. Carrot Cake and Chocolate Cake, both good. 

 

 

We have eaten at Chops before and we eat there on the next cruise.

Let me just say now that I have truely enjoyed sharing this journey with you.  Thanks to our "Dani's group"  and others for the encouragement.  I had no idea what I was getting into and how many would enjoy it. So fun. THANKS!

The first cake you posted from Chops is Red Velvet cake - not carrot cake. I agree, it is good.

Last night balcony rooms were showing.  We have friends that are checking also for the balconies.

Good catch and yes it was good and I was almost able to eat it all.

Are flight is canceled.  Yes, SW.  The same ones that canceled or friends flight last week.  It doesn't look like as another to LR until Monday as of now.  Switching to Delta is over $1,000. No luggage charge because they flew off with are bags!
