We had Metropole, made by Heisdick (sp), on Equinox in  Oct.

Really?  I love that stuff.  (I assume it was the Blue Top.)  I hope they have it on the Silhouette next month!

(Just fyi, Heidsieck.  😉)

I was so excited when I first saw@39august’s post by the prospect of drinking this on Celebrity that my eyes read right past “Metropole.”  It’s called “Monopole.”  😊

OP asked about the premium package, but if you want to drink in your cabin, there are several choices of champagne in the sail away gift part of the website.  I may get the Veuve Clicquot myself.  Not sure about next time because I will be pretty close to the Sunset Bar.

Cattier is was the replacement for Montaudon when we were on the Edge last month.

We liked it better.

We had this on Edge in July and Nov on Summit.   On Summit in the MDR they said they only got 2 bottles per night.   One night another sommelier said they were out and keep trying to give me Chandon.  Regular sommelier came by with Cattier a few minutes later.

Had Monopole on Equinox but it was sweeter.   I prefer the Montaudon and Cattier more.

Is that California Chandon $10/bottle or Moet $50/bottle?

Is Montaudon back??  It was on the premium package prior to covid but hasn't been seen since the restart.  Cattier was a pretty good replacement but Montaudon was my favorite.   What ship?

I did 38 days on Connie in April/May and not a drop of French Champagne to be had on the premium package.  Spoke with Cellar Master multiple times and all I got was sorry.
