Princess announced for cruises 16 days or more, COVID test showing a negative result is required. Adding up my 3 b2b2b cruises, the total days will be 16 days, so am I required to take a COVID test before embarking on the 1st cruise (7 days)?  My 3 cruises were booked separately, and have 3 booking numbers. The 1st cruise is 7 days, departs in San Pedro at the end of this October, and 2nd cruise is 5 days, and the 3rd cruise is 4 days.

They are saying no test at this time.

There is no Covid test requirement for your flight from SFO to YVR, just the ArriveCAN.  If you take the PCR test in SFO more than three days before your cruise departs, that is too early.  You need a Covid test for boarding the ship and, maybe, another ArriveCAN depending on the cruise itinerary.

if I am on the January  7   panama canal cruise round trip from fort lauderdale  10  days will i be required to take a pre cruise test   It says required for full transit but this is not

Then why ask here?  Yes, the guidelines indicate no test required - your time is under 16-nights and you are not on a full-transit.

And it's 5 months away....who knows what the guideline will be by then?

It was when we first arrived in Alaska via air at Fairbanks.

If you flew from a U.S. airport in the lower 48 to Fairbanks, you are no longer required to show negative test results.  Per current requirements, you will need to show them when you arrive at the cruise terminal to board your ship, and may need them to complete the ArriveCAN app for an itinerary that includes a Canadian port of call.

Testing to arrive in the USA was dropped in June, therefore, you were not questioned when boarding your flight, nor upon arrival.

Fully vaccinated US citizens arriving in Vancouver on the Royal Princess.  Will embark in Whittier on Sept 10th and disembark in Vancouver Sept 17th.  Must we furnish an antigen covid test?  It seems confusing.

This is crazy.  Kevin, would you please post info on an in-person test site BCN, when you have info?

Thanks!

Just booked our tests for Sept 22, two days before boarding our 21-night cruise on Regal Princess that includes stops in Greece. With the recent changes eff Sept 6, the only reason we need to test is Greece requiring testing for any visit to Greece. Hopefully this will change in the next month and we can cancel our tests.

These are RATs with printed and emailed results in 15 minutes. With the voucher provided after you make an appt, it's only €29.00 each, a little less expensive than the video-monitored BinaxNOW tests we've used on past cruises, but not as convenient. Unfortunately, as of now, Greece doesn't accept video-monitored tests.

Did you consider onpoint-testing.com ? $16.99 using any accepted kit.

This is in reference to visiting or stopping in Greece.  It HAS to be an in person test. Unless they change the rules!

Celebrity rules re Greece and monitored tests are different. In fact they show links to Binax and Optinum to get pre boarding tests.

Would love to if the Princess guidelines allowed.

Amazing how the rules differ among cruise lines.
