No stir fry, pasta again. But I really enjoyed it

Laura's haf a little to much heat, but I liked it

20220203_150158.thumb.jpg.a62e9c77bdce647bf07f4a1400fbfef2.jpg

Windjammer was quiet. Spoke with Executive Sous Chef. Nice guy

20220203_122051.thumb.jpg.20c141f6ba8ba051d1c238c193f3119c.jpg

Since Laura didn't eat much, we headed to El Loco for nachos

20220203_150133.thumb.jpg.3135699bac653e59f338a64cd3b11391.jpg

Pretty day for al fresco dining

20220203_124336.thumb.jpg.758e1de4d67de2054d713b04c7ae990b.jpg

Now we want chocolate chip cookies. Been hard to find. Jammer only had sugar free. Laura wanted to go to CK, but I said Cafe two70. And yep, no luck, just white chocolate, so we got a Kummelweck. Yes, lunch #3. It was fabulous

Watched them practice aerials for The Book, then headed to Cafe Promenade. Nope, none there either. So back to CK. And of course they didn't dissapoint.

Had to use doorbell.

Don’t you just love those doorbells.  😂 The last night on Harmony some kids were going down halls, ringing them then running.  When I opened the door security was coming down the hall and told me what happened.  I might have to try it next cruise!

Definitely creatures of habit. Headed back to SL for Happy Hour. Starting to not mind the walk

When in Rome😉

Nice sunset

This might be an option for a close beach break. Not sure if they have day passes

My Curacao Cosmo was nice, but sometimes I just want a Cape Codder. Tito's of course for M8

Never mind, they just know my cabin number🤣🤣

Guess what dinner was😇

20220203_192602.thumb.jpg.1ba974643d3b647afceac7cdd8bc06ed.jpg

Decided to visit Pinnacle Lounge before the show.

20220203_192533.thumb.jpg.9c509cab8005dd85d0fe20842844fa9c.jpg

It pretty much emptied out around 6:30. The orchestra was doing mike checks for their 7pm show. Really loud

20220203_192550.thumb.jpg.3eba2ee583d1493fb9e38b1262d834e7.jpg

So we went to casino so Laura could use her earned credits. She ended up winning $200 on Dancing Drums and she didn't give it back👍

Day 6 - Curacao

Off the ship around 9:30, slight chance of showers, but it's cooler now, so off we go

Parked at the far pier😪

Construction on the waterfront path to the fort forced us to make a detour, but no biggie. Hope its done in mid May

20220203_115743.thumb.jpg.0c5f88495a69a39586b7763a614d1a21.jpg

Made it to the bridge, no rain 👍

I love Laura's colourful tops and dresses.

Thanks for doing another blog, its a bright spot in our gloomy winter. Three years ago this week we were in the Southern Caribbean on Jewel OTS

Wonderful cruise

It was good to have the Tito's flowing amd not a bottle of New Amsterdam to be seen.

Those glasses are easier to carry around but because we couldn't walk around without masks, I reverted back to regular Cosmos rather than on the rocks since I had most of them while sitting in a lounge.

Race announcing was his last gig. I’d think he is still doing it this year.

I got to tour his race shop HQ in Charlotte a few years ago.  Spectacular would be the correct statement. I could only imagine how big it would be.

I was trying to figure out how Jimmy Hendricks had a yacht in Nassau.🙄

All this talk about water in cans... I'm abut to order a new travel water bottle to take with me on my next cruise!

I would myself, but with all the left over empty water bottle I end up with, I am simply "recycling".  😄😉

I do always pack my reusable coffee travel mugs.  Fill them with the paper cup, transfer to mug.  Works for me.....drinking a Latte now.  😋

We just booked a JS on Odyssey for March.   This is an out of the blue booking for us.  Can you tell me about the JS booking situation for CK dinners?  Any idea if we will have a chance to book for all nights at the beginning of the cruise?  Will there be someone outside CK during embarkation lunch to do reservations?  I would hate to have to go begging each day for dinner reservations, but we do enjoy CK.

JS (and Pinnacles in a non suite) need to make reservations each day on an available basis with the host only after boarding.  The host stand is outside the door, which we love...since it is not a keyed entry and don't have to "beg/knock" at the door.

Cannot book for the whole week, it's day by day.  We were happy to snag 3 dinner reservations, but could only do so on non popular nights (not steak night or lobster night).

It's a nice size restaurant, but more than half of it is blocked off for social distancing.  It could change by March, but I doubt it.  Plus March is a very heavy cruise month, spring break...families, etc. with many traveling in suites.

Probably enjoying their cruise.

Yup....only 3 ports of call on this cruise, took advantage of shore leave.  😉

Kept very busy today, and really enjoyed "Tap Factory" show last night, after a great happy hour in Music Hall and our favorite dinner of seared Tuna in CK.  🙂

Knew we had time today and tomorrow with 2 full sea days.  Time to catch up.

Upstairs at Steak and Ribs is where we had lunch.  Hard to see at that angle, but you go around the corner on the open deck with that great view.  Highly recommend....and not busy at all.  Great food!
