Taste a little off and odd to drink water out of cans, but we survived.  We put the paper tops they put on glassware on top of open cans. Would be better if we could seal it.

Yes, Aruba.  It is a short taxi ride or a nice walk from dock.   Outdoor bar/restaurant located on a beach.  Excellent locations for sunsets too!

Check out their website and if you want to go for sunset dinner or drinks it is best to make a reservation.

I just found this on TripAdvisor this morning. It's the #3 or #4 restaurant in Aruba according to that website.

When I was on the Anthem last week they said that the TWO-70 show is a "C" show right now, which means no aerial portion. Apparently when all the ships started up pretty much at the same time, there was a shortage of riggers to set up the aerial equipment. Looks like Odyssey managed to have riggers, since you have one shot of an aerial performer. 

 

Thanks for all the tips on seating selection. I'll keep that in mind next week.

Day 6 - Curacao

 

Off the ship around 9:30, slight chance of showers, but it's cooler now, so off we go

 

Parked at the far pier😪

 

Construction on the waterfront path to the fort forced us to make a detour, but no biggie. Hope its done in mid May

 

Made it to the bridge, no rain 👍

Laura left while I was admiring the ship's lines. Told her I would meet her in the cabin.

 

However, when I arrived my sea pass would not open the door. No problem, I'll use the app. Struck out, that won't work either🤔 Had to use doorbell.  Dropped off stuff and headed to lunch. But tried door again when we left. No good. Laura tries hers, no good either.

 

Called Guest Services from elevator lobby. Housekeeping officer arrived immediately. And he can't open it either🤣🤣 He says it needs new battery, and they would replace it while at lunch👍
