Nieuw Statendam's last port was Aruba on March 13.  5 hours after leaving they had to return to Aruba, adding about 10 hours to the travel time.

I would bet that all 4 engines were online to get the ship to Port Everglades somewhat earlier than what the Captain thought they would be.
