Very soon. My son is doing a Royal Carribean internship in Miami right now and found out a lot of insight about it. Commercials will be on soon, along with bookings.

Sorry wrong ship I meant Icon. That sails in 2023 and found out a lot about it.

I couldn't agree more.  Sounds like they are running out of names.

Same corporation.   So yeah.  I get it.  I don’t know what those focus groups looked like or the group that made the final decision, but my goodness.  Of all the names and words possible? and that is what they come up with?  SMH.

RC has the most stupid names for their ships.

Time to start rehashing the old one's again like HAL does.

Even Carnival is bring old names back...

I remember there was a thread about possible RCI ship names for future and some ridiculous names that have been trademarked by RCI. Anyone still remember that tread?

Don't recall the thread but here's what RCI listed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office two weeks ago:

  • Nova of the Seas
  • Splendor of the Seas
  • Star of the Seas
  • Monarch of the Seas
  • Titan of the Seas
  • Majesty of the Seas
  • Sun of the Seas
  • Marquee of the Seas
  • Hero of the Seas

I agree ... the silly "Of The Seas" is getting boring now and in many cases, the name makes no sense anyway .. like what does "Oasis of the Seas" even mean?

Would be great to see a new Nordic Prince or Song of Norway!
