Very nice library.  With comfy chairs & footstools.

 

 

will need to return the two very good books I borrowed and seek them out at home.

 

 

 

 

lots of timber & glass cabinets filled with books and board games.

On board shop was weirdly stocked with South America & Panama Canal jackets & tees plus the usual array of cruise themed clothing.  A separate section for those desperate for a sugar hit or needing basic items that they forgot pack.

There is an Effy jewellery store  and another store selling watches, Swarovski jewellery, Pandora jewellery and other brands.

Movies under the stars was supposed to be on every night but wind and rain no doubt cancelled.  Tonight they had a kids movie on - should have shown Frozen - it was very cold & windy where they were seated.  Nice set up though and rugs & popcorn provided.

Woke up 7am.  Second morning attempt at shower and no hot water.  No breakfast.  Just packed suitcase & out the cabin door.  Exited the OPT at 7.35pm.

Back to work this morning.

AAAgh, no hot water !!  When  I was on Coral 13/9 to 22/9, I was in Cabin C333, one morning no hot water, plumber arrived that evening, thermostat in shower taps was kaput, so he put a new one in. Perhaps that was the problem with yours.  Plumber told me he sometimes replaces  a dozen shower thermostats a day on the ship, wear and tear.

And then when you've cruised enough with Princess they do your laundry for free! That's even better. 😊😊😊

I also had a cold shower one morning last month. Informed the cabin steward and it was fixed same day.

Thanks for the heads up re the shower.  I only saw my room attendant twice.  Once on boarding day and the night before departure.  Pre-medallion on other cruise lines you would always see them in the corridors so it never occurred to me until now that I could actually call him from the cabin phone with requests (I wanted a wine glass in the room too)….

Love the gentle sway you get all day when you have disembarked from the cruise.  Makes me feel like I am back on board….

That will not happen, laundry is a money spinner like the speshul restaurants, casinos and shorex.

Happened on our ship.  Spotted brand new washing machines sitting on wharf so we raced in and filled up two laundry bags and handed them in.  Sure enough the honeymoon was over the next day !
