It was listed in the Patters that way on Enchanted last November, but as I didn't go to the Casino can't say if it was enforced or not.

Great - I called today and complained about not being able to book dining reservations since I have paid in full since the middle of last year. Was told it will be 30 to 60 days out. That really is unacceptable.

What specific discussion are you looking for on the ship? Would you want similar discussion of every other ship in the Princess fleet?

 

People are attracted to the brand... And PCL's utter failure to deliver a product on time is disappointing. Padgett is turning PCL into the same Disney experience his previous gig taught him... Maximize revenue and demand dollars for anything enjoyable on the ship.

Cruise influencers (or any, for that matter) are all about the DrAMa for more clicks. 99.9% of the time I immediately mute the video because I want to make my own decision on things, and not one based off of someone's opinion.

That is certainly one strategy.  Another one is to find people who are like-minded with you and who (generally) share the same likes and dislikes as you, and stick to their content.  That is what I do with wine reviews, restaurant reviews, and cruise reviews. It certainly shrinks the amount of content that one has to digest and filters out the noise.

FYI... Padgett didn't work that part of Disney. The theme parks have taken nickel and dimeing to an absurd level.

I was going to say the same thing. There are plenty of based reviewers out there not looking for click baits

Why would you pay in full a year ahead?  I would have invested the $$ and earned some $$.

 

Why would you need to book dining reservations a year ahead?  Have never had an issue getting a reservation even after on board.  Impossible for me to know the times for port calls as many are changing because of cruising speed restrictions.  Thus when we might want to eat.

Hi Star,

 

We were thinking the same thing and had booked a Sphere Premium Deluxe Balcony for months and was so happy we got the cabin.

 

The cabin is right beside the Cabana Mini Suites on deck 12, the longest part of the Sphere.

 

We wanted to stay in the Sphere.

 

Then last week someone posted a photo of the balcony.

 

It is vey long and narrow.

 

It didn’t seem like the light from the balcony can reach the cabin.

 

About 20 ft or more from the glass door to the edge of the balcony.

 

So we switched to one of the extra long and bright but not as private Premium Deluxe Balcony ..460 cabins.

Yes,   that video just above shows that it might not be as dark or 'cavernous' as one might think from that photo.  That is one deck above...  deck 14.

 

What do you guys think about the first (or last) balcony on the sphere, that is next to the straight regular balconies.   That would give a bit more space...  but really angled....

Any downsides???
