Mini Bars

Can someone please enlighten me - if the mini bar is set up for 2 elites, can 1 elite change it to coffee card and the other retain the mini bar?  Also, is the mini bar set up for 2 elites the same as for 1 elite?  We came across these questions on our recent cruise on the Regal.

Only one mini bar per married couple in cabin

One mini-bar per cabin, regardless of relationship of Elites in cabin. They could be married, "living in sin", friends, transitioning, pineapples, complete strangers matched by a booking site, acquaintances,  whatever - makes no difference.

2 (3 or 4 for that matter) elites in 1 cabin - 1 mini-bar setup.

Unless, of course, the 2 (3 or 4) Elites are in a suite. Then, 1 Elite mini-bar setup, and 1 Suite setup per cabin. No extras for extra Elite guests, etc.

Thank you for the correction.  I was misinformed.😉

Can we trade for all sodas AND a coffee card or just the two coffee cards?

You can trade any one or all non-alcoholic or alcoholic beverage for soda. You can also trade the entire mini bar, 10 alcoholic and 10 non alcoholic, for two coffee packages. There are no partial trades for the coffee packages. The coffee packages are normally assigned one each to two occupants of the cabin. You can ask to have them assigned to another person, example a relative/friend in another cabin, or both packages to one person if you wish.

What about 2 Elites in a cabin with different address?

I thought I heard that if they had different booking numbers, each Elite could get a Mini Bar.

On the Discovery Princess last week, we got 4 vodkas and 4 gins.  They did not have cognac or scotch.  We wanted to exchange for some ginger beer, but that was not available either.  Supply issues was the explanation.

I asked to trade the gin for vodka.  The stewards took care of it and then the next day the room service attendant delivered 4 more bottles of vodka and some cokes. They all ended up back with the stewards! 😂

On Enchanted since 12/9 for b2b of 10 days each. 1st setup was a joke as they only had scotch (bleh). Turned it in for 2 coffee cards that we are still using on the 2nd 10-day part of this trip ~ just rolled over from the 1st cruise. Now, the 2nd bar set-up was wonderful! Since they didn't have the "pony" bottles of vodka/gin, etc., we were left the two bottles of beer and a 375ml bottle of gin and vodka each. Hard to complain about that one! One the 1st part of the cruise it took a few days to make the exchange but on the current leg of the cruise, we waited a day or two to exchange the beer for more tonic water and it was done in a day.
