Has anyone ever… or does anyone know if it is possible to change the itinerary for a Blue Chip Club complimentary cruise offer. Example: being offered cruise leaving from east coast and be able to switch to a cruise leaving from the west coast?  Any help is greatly appreciated

I had a BCC free cruise offer and selected a Mexican Riviera cruise sailing in March of this year.  A few weeks later I decided April would be a better time for me to cruise and was able to switch to a California Coastal with no issues at all.

However both cruises were from the original selections offered at the time I received the free cruise.  That may have been the reason it was easy to switch.  And, obviously, there was still availability on the April cruise.

Never hurts to call and ask.

Only to cruises on the list sent in your offer and only if they have Blu chip cabins left as they bare allotted a specific number per sailing

100% accurate.  If they had enough play they may be able to book a new comped sailing.  BCC comped cruises will refund the fees/taxes you paid if you cancel.  Once your offer code deadline expires they do not allow changes

I would call Blue Chip. We received an offer in the Fall. One of the cruises to choose from was a 8 night Eastern on the Reflection. We called and wanted to get more information then decided to think on it for a day. Called back and was told that there were no more cabins available for that cruise. The person I spoke with then offered a 7 night on the Apex which wasn’t on our original list of offers. So you just never know. I have found that calling Blue Chip you can talk to 3 different people and get 3 different answers. Not much consistency. Worth a call in my opinion.

Every time and I mean every time I have called Blue Chip they have been professional & helpful.  This is not to say they gave me everything I wanted to hear but I believe they heard my question/concern and attempted to resolve.  I would call the and the worst they can  say is NO.  I suspect if they can say yes then will…..

Newest offer emailed today:

I got a BCC email today with this selection except it was not for a free balcony but was the 10% off offer. The offer came under my account. The previous 3-4 free offers we got came under my wife's account as she is the one that plays in the casino, I usually just sit and watch her play. We were on the Reflection in December and she used my card a few times in the casino just to get some play on it and hopefully I would also get some free offers. But so far all the offers I have received were for the 10% off and no free cabins. Now I wonder if all the play should have been on her card but who can figure how they choose who gets what offers.

We got a blue chip offer today for Mexico cruise from LA. 7 day. Says a $7 deposit but only the ones leaving asap. The ones leaving later in the month are at a higher price. Any clue why?

I just remembered that my wife got the free cruise to Mexico offer this past Sunday so still hope that she will get more free offers leaving from Florida.

I am happy to receive the offer, trying to figure out why the price is higher if I wait until the April cruise to book.

I would assume the cruises leaving very soon are highly unlikely to sell-out at this late date. There is more time for Celebrity to sell cruises in April at full price. These BCC offers are, in my opinion, a "clearance sale" so February cruises have been marked down.

I got the Mexican Riviera offer on Saturday as we were returning from…you guessed it, the Mexican Riviera!

We also live in Georgia and the air fare, taxes and fees, and hotel costs make it non-viable, not to mention getting the time off work!

Oh, and we don’t gamble at all!!!

Funny, because my partner got the same offer and he never goes into the casino, but I do. So I thought it was really a way of filling up the ship. It's sad because we love Celebrity and would hate to see them leave the West Coast. But if they cant' fill the ships, they don't have a choice.

My husband did the slot tournament and maybe spent another $100 on slots on our holiday cruise. I played blackjack for the entire cruise. He got the offer!

I've been offered BCC cruises before and thought there must be a catch, so I never looked into them. Is there a catch? Also, he's a teacher so scheduling stinks.

No catch. BCC comped cruise offers are based on past play, and NONE of their offers require a minimum spend at the casino. IOW you can book and sail on a comped BCC cruise and never once set foot in the casino. Nothing will happen with regards to that particular sailing, but you probably wont receive future offers. So there's really no down sides. With regards to sailings based on US public school holidays yes that can be a challenge. But many times you'll see summer cruises offered through BCC and like this month the Solstice sailing during President's week was offfered during many public school's week long recess.

No, there is no "catch". No expectation of you gambling once on board, and you get whatever Captain's Club amenities which you might be entitled to.

We both received the BCC club for Mexican Riviera cruises through April 15th, but when I clicked on them to book, it was not free! I called to ask even though it said that the offer was available only if booked online and the CSR that helped me explained that there is an issue with the system.

If you got the offer and want to take advantage of it, you have to call.

We did one on the Beyond in December and it was amazing, but definitely not free! LOL.

And you even get the Captain's Club points for the cruise, just as though you'd paid market price. I was surprised to learn that.

How are you getting offers other than gambling with your seapass?  Did you have to sign up or something?  I get emails from X, and gamble A LOT in the casino.  Have never received an offer.  Am I missing something?  (Yes, I know what a lot is in terms of gambling).
