I can report that on the Paradise they were on point as of less than a month ago. I absolutely love those fries. To hear that a change has been made in this regard is quite unsettling.

Same here. Paradise .... Guy's Burgers and the fries were perfect. Yum!

I still say some of the best food I've ever had on a cruise was on the Ecstasy. The smaller ships even though may not have had all the dining options as the newer ships - what they had, they excelled at. Glad to hear that's still true!

I'm glad we're having this meaningful discussion about fries.  We could be spending hours upon hours having a totally stupid discussion about the buns.  😁

Exactly!  Discussing buns would just be a waste of time, unlike time well spent discussing the of French fries.

Hi @groundloop🙂

That actually happened already, LOL! The day after Christmas a newly created member made a thread about Guy's Burger Buns being too big for the burger.

It spawned a 5-page discussion. Some interesting reading🤣

Ok I was wondering about Guy's Burgers since I haven't had one in over 5 years (the last time was on my last Carnival cruise).  Is there a lot of grease on the burgers?

i noticed it varies. sometimes there is and sometimes there is little grease. depends on how it cook and how long it stays out in the tray they use

And today's Guy's burgers can't compare to how the original juicier, thicker, tenderer burgers tasted when they first came out years ago.

The burger itself has been downgraded several times since it first appeared.

i noticed this too. when i was on the sunshine back in January , the burger was like your average frozen beef patty that you get at the supermarket

Hi 🙂

I rather have a Carnival 'Brunch Buger' than a Guy's burger.

Interesting though on the recent brunch menu someone posted, there was no mention of the brunch burger coming with an egg.  Just the cheese, bacon, pickles, lettuce.  Did you have the egg added?  Or is that also now another menu change?
