Quick refund from Princess

Sorry you had to cancel, but it was good that the refund came so quickly.

As a side note, it appears that the refunds of refundable OBC are now not sent in cheque form. On the 9th February we received an email regarding the refund from our cruise that ended two weeks earlier. We had to supply bank account details. We were advised that it would take around three business names for the cash to land in our account.

This went into the account we paid from. Dr says she thinks “No more cruises” but hope springs eternal.

The money is earmarked for a road trip letter in the year, no more than about 150km a day and a few two night stays. (Might turn it into a pie hunters trip).

At least on a road trip I can take Maxy along.

Sad that you couldn't do the cruise mate, but a road trip sounds like a winner to me. You get to see some great places, find some pies & take Maxy - win/win/win.

We did a great trip last year, stopping at Jervis Bay, Bateman's Bay (bonus there catching up with Les), Merimbula & then inland thru Cooma, Tumut & Wagga & then back home to Penrith!

Take care. Cheers

Sorry you had to cancel your cruise, Gut. But hopefully a land trip with Maxy along will make up for it in part.

We're thinking of doing a land trip over winter - heading up to Queensland in search of warm weather and seeing how far we get. Could be fun!

Well, pulled the pin on my last cruise.

Did it on Monday, was a little surprised by questions as to why.

But pleasantly surprised to get the money in my account today.

Bad news, which cruise was it Gut?

We need to keep each day short and probably not till October, thinking about three days up to Lismore to see her dad, then back via Dubbo over about two weeks.

It was Princess in about a years time, Tasmania, and Kangaroo Island, still hoping that one day we will cruise again, but that might be a pipe dream. Insurance is getting harder to get and dare not go without it.
