cruise101 Posted February 24, 2023 #1 Share Posted February 24, 2023 Although we have sailed with Celebrity many times, our upcoming cruise will be the first in Aqua class. We do not have any drinks package, but will be needing bottled drinking water. I am aware that X previously included FREE drinking water for Aqua passengers. Can someone please confirm that is still the case and that this has not been eliminated with the recent cost cutting that one reads so much about. Also if bottled water is still included in Aqua class, is there a daily limit, such that we may still need to bring some bottled water ourselves? Thanks in advance for your responses. omeinv Posted February 24, 2023 #2 Share Posted February 24, 2023 Your needs will be met. There is free drinking water in every room on the ship. Check in the bathroom for a chrome plated dispenser. Celebrity provides two reusable glasses for in-room consumption of this water; or guests may bring their own container to take the water elsewhere with them. mrgabriel Posted February 24, 2023 #3 Share Posted February 24, 2023 We were in AQ in January and yes, bottles of water are provided. They aren't unlimited - we received 2 a day. Note that the bottles are aluminum. Some people like them, others don't. I drink a LOT of water and since I'm not a fan of using throwaway bottles, I bring my own refillable bottle and fill it up in the OVC or Spa Cafe as needed.

john1970 Posted February 24, 2023 #5 Share Posted February 24, 2023 We had two cans a day in our Aqua class cabin. We sailed on Eclipse this month.
chimchimtx Posted February 24, 2023 #6 Share Posted February 24, 2023 Be nice to your stateroom attendant. We were supposed to receive two a day but often got four when he saw we were drinking them all. We did not ask for more they just magically kept appearing. Also I highly suggest pouring them into glasses for drinking in your room or on the balcony. They come in metal cans and the edges are very sharp. A lot of people complain about it tasting metallic, but I think they are smelling it more than tasting it. I chilled mine in the fridge and drank it from glasses and it was great. SbbquilterUT Posted February 24, 2023 #7 Share Posted February 24, 2023 There was so much left we finally asked him to stop. I prefer the taste of the ship RO water to the cans so we just used our refillable bottles.

If two bottles are not enough, you can always ask nicely for more. We have always had plenty of water bottles in our Aqua cabin.
Arizona Wildcat Posted February 24, 2023 #10 Share Posted February 24, 2023 We bring a refillable bottle. The ship's water is distilled with an antibacterial- tastes great to me The aluminum bottles we found hard to open and had a metallic taste. I took what they said "we don't have any drink package" at face value but it is indeed possible they have it and didn't realize it

That said, as someone has already guessed (correctly), our booking is with BCC, so no perks are included. The info on this board has (as always) been very helpful. So thanks everyone who commented. FeelingCruisy Posted February 27, 2023 #24 Share Posted February 27, 2023 BCC cruise as well on Aqua coming up April. We are elite plus and to my understanding free alcoholic drinks given 5-7pm at bars. Can we ask for bottle water during those times ? Thanks. Yes to asking for a CAN (lol) of water when ordering an alcoholic drink. The only thing about the 5-7 is that the drink menu is very limited. While playing in the casino you do get choose drinks from the classic package
