Finally got a blue chip club offer. Wanted to investigate pricing options but was stymied when asked to input my Blue Chip Membership #. Is it the same as my CC#?

I'm almost positive that it is your Captain's Club #. I have never seen anything else.

I just received the email as well citing my tier as Pearl. My gaming experience on any cruise has been limited to using the loyalty match play coupons and calling it a day. I therefore get the feeling this type of email was marketing to everyone, BCC or not.

Nevertheless, if anyone thinks this could result in a discounted cruise without obligation on my part, I'll look into. Like @TMLAalum, I would prefer to see the cruises and prices without having a phone call about it.

Can i ask the details of this offer?  Was it a free veranda or just a discount with drinks, etc?
I would also be interested in knowing the date ranges for this offer.

Just curious ;-).

Blue Chip Club number is not the same as your Captains Club number.  I notice that the BCC number is pre-filled out on the casino reservation request form that appears when you click on the "Click Here" button on the email that we got.

I am also Pearl.  Got an offer for certain cruises with a 10% discount.  Had to call to get ALL the specifics

We just got this one as well. But we went to Europe last year and we’ve been a few times so I think we will pass on this.

Was it 10% off the rate that pops up when you do a mock booking on the Celebrity website? I know they require you book with the refundable deposit rate. It would be great to try to see if this is or isn't a good deal without having to call them.

OK, so if you’ve ever used your cruise card in the casino, you are Pearl. And from the one data point above, we might assume Pearl get 10% off non-discounted and refundable fares.

These BCC deals started last July (or so).  They were targeted and not all Pearl tier members received the offers which included a free cruise (previous post) or in my example, 60% off + free AI.

So you called in and they confirmed you would receive 60% off one of these cruises, even though you’ve had minimal casino spend?

Got this also and was wondering how to find rates - what # to call?

There is a link in the email to fill out a form to request someone call you to sell you the cruise. I think we are (almost) all here in this thread to see if we can find out more specifics without having to express interest and get a phone call.

Yes.  It has been the subject of conversation on this board since July.  The first person that posted it asked if it was a scam.  Higher tier players did not get this offer.

This thread appeared in July.  Use the Cruise Critic search bar for the word "Pearl" in the topic below and be amazed.  We are guessing that the sailings being offered are not selling well and have cabins that would otherwise sail empty.

Before commenting, I had searched for exactly that but went to the thread that was most recent (this one).

Comments in the other thread say these offers are based in past casino spend, but I feel pretty confident I didn’t get offered 60% off because I laundered $40 OBN through a slot machine four years ago. Then again, maybe so since others have reported resulting cruise fare is close to or more than anyone can book on the website.

It is not clear what the exact basis was for getting this offer.

I need to clarify my situation.  My 26 yr old son is getting the offers through my email account.  He, my wife, and I are all lowly Pearls.  We usually will spend a few hours in a casino on two nights of an extended cruise.  My wife and I are not getting the offers!  Now, I did call to verify the legitimacy of the offer.  I think in this thread, we tried (unsuccessfully) to figure out the basis for the offer.

Did they tell you or provide a way to look at actual prices for the sailings? I am reluctant to submit a request to book a cruise and to get a call back with “confirmation” with no mention of price.

FWIW, in terms of figuring out the basis of the offer, I was a high level in MGM’s club years ago but not because I’d ever stepped foot in any of their casinos but because I status matched RC Diamond Plus.

Nope, X has always been stuck in the stone ages; have to call and ask...At least currently there aren't two hour wait times during that last mass offer
