I don't understand why people join a long queue to embark a ship, esp in the rain.  There are lots of nice cafes nearby to have a drink and rest until the queue gets smaller.

The buffet, the buffet, all you can stuff yourself with, hehehe 😋

She sure is in Sydney, but not for long.

The queue was shorter at the front, and we were in the dining room just after noon.

First day in port for the season means delays via border force. Boarding started just after noon and all were aboard by 4. Check-in is rapid now that covid is out of the way.

Just backing-out now. Time to be cruising!!

We'll be on the Majestic on Tuesday and have a few questions please.

Do they have Australian power points or do we need to bring adapters?

Is the inside temperature cool? I'm just starting to pack today and not sure what to pack. We've found HAL's ship's dining rooms to be on the cool side.

Someone's who been on a longer cruise may know this. Does Princess still have designated formal/dressy nights?

Thanks for any information and enjoy your cruise😃

Thanks for any information and enjoy your cruise😃

What time did you join the queue?

Around 11. We only did that to make sure we were under cover if it rained. Check-in was advertised as open at 1pm, so we hadn't complaints in waiting. It was much easier than the first of season last year.

Outlets vary by cabin type. Each cabin will have a single Aussie outlet, plus a minimum of 2 x USB-A sockets. There are also US & Euro socjets, so if you have a pon adaptor, you gain an extra outlet.

The inside temperature is pretty neutral.

Princess still has formal nights. You should get two, with the 2nd one also having a white & gold theme.
