OMG how awful.  Please be careful and hope the other guy got a ticket and you got all his insurance information, looks like he rear ended you badly.

yes, at least it wasn’t on the way to the ship…although, at least then I would have had a week to recover mentally!

As a professional driver I can alert you to NOT talk to the other party other than the required information exchange.

Do NOT admit to anything, there is NO upside to being human!!

Take a million pictures plus!  If possible, be creative(sneaky) and get the other party in the background of pictures...to verify that they did not require CPR at the scene when they sue you as such.

If you were fortunate to get law enforcement to come to the scene get officers ID#'s and names and accident/incident report number.
