Yay a live review from Sue!! Looking forward to following along. I was hoping to use my just-released annual casino cruise for Icon for next March, but since Icon is excluded, now looking at Symphony.

Good morning. 
 

Yup. 3:45am. Mind racing. 
 

Trying to remember everything I need to put in suitcases. 
 

Suitcases. Remember my pretty purple luggage. Well after our Quantum cruise last August flying home was an experience. Seattle to Denver circled and circled and circled over many a western state due to all the storms. 
 

Arrived in Denver very delayed.  The reason we did not miss our connector was our plane turned into connector to Cleveland. 
 

Although I was anxious from non stop turbulence. I survived without getting sick. 
However our pretty purple luggage was trashed, damage, broken some where somehow on the journey. 
 

So, as we started planning for this vacation we did purchase new pretty purple luggage. ( pictures to follow). If I wake up the spouse now let’s just say not going there.  He has to work today. 
 

Where am I  going with this??????

 

I plan on sharing how much this “free” cruise in a grand suite costs. 
 

Now, a few expenses will not be include. 
That being they were gifts. Or I’m not going to share.

So after our June cruise on Allure out of Galveston the time spent in casino I found this little piece of paper in our cabin. 
 

 

So after much consideration and thought provoking discussion ( haha) we saw Symphony- April. Looked up itinerary. 
 

No brainer. 
Booked onBoard. 

 

Now some maybe doubtful of my investment so far. 
 

 

But in reality our final receipt says it all. 
 

As you see we paid 

$78. Vacation protection plan

$296  Gratuities 

$229.92 Taxes. 
 

Which so far totals 

$603.92 for our “free” cruise

 

Now being Diamond plus gets us 10 free thirst quencher’s daily. ( yup another lol) we rarely drink. And I am signature in casino. 
So we do not buy alcohol package. 
 

We do not do extra specialty dinning we enjoy Coastal Kitchen — except that one night when they have that goofy menu so I eat off kids menu. 
 

We paid for one excursion, I have to look up that price. Turtles in Curacao 
We were reimbursed for the zip line in Labadee. ( yup me zip lining) would have been third time. 
 

Ok.

Off to buy feeder fish for our pet turtles

Slo-poke and Peeve. 
Peeve was our daughters turtle and when we asked her why did you name it Peeve. 
Her response was priceless. 
“Everyone has to have a pet peeve”

We have first checkin time and in our suite. 
 

So. We can checkin when doors open. 
Last time we were in waiting area at 10:05 am.

Animals seem to know when routines change. 
 

Time to give kitty treats and neck rubs.

Yup doors open at 10:00... So as you pass, say hello as I will be there opening the stanchions to let you thru the security and on to check in.

My brother and his furry friend  ( dog) are  camping out here. 
 

Refrigerator stocked well. 
 

We are close and take care of one another. As well as pets. 
 

We babysit his dog when he travels.
