When is port purchase alcohol returned on b2b?

If purchased on 1st leg of b2b is it returned at the end of 1st leg or 2nd leg?  Cruising on Radiance. Thanks

Probably a "it depends" situation.

Normally they have no idea you’re ona B2B and will send to the cabin on the last night of the first cruise. 
Same for in-house purchases.

Agree with you.  That has always been our experience.

I would just buy it the last afternoon of first leg.

 

We have had bottles purchased in port  and “held in bond”, lost. I minimize the chain of command as much as possible.

Ours was delivered the night before the end of the first cruise.  That is typical.  They don't hold it as they don't know who is on a b2b and who isn't.

Whilst this is typical there have been reports where that isn’t the case.
