I'm hopping on the ship tomorrow and am wondering what the choices are and what everyone enjoys?

The app should list all of the dining venues open at that time.

Whichever specialty restaurant is open.

If not that, we would just battle it out with the rest of the folks at the buffet.  Embarkation lunch there can be such a madhouse though.

Other options would be to just grab some Pizza or finger sandwhiches from the Cafe Promenade or head up to the pool deck for El Loco fresh.  Those may be less busy.

Don't put too much thought into embarkation day lunch, it's hard to make it very enjoyable unless you are doing a specialty location.  Just too much going on with everyone lugging around backpacks/luggage etc..

I agree with the El Loco Fresh suggestion.  We used to always go to Jaime's for lunch (specialty restaurant) but now they only have Hooked open for lunch.

Across from Schooner bar, it sits on what was the bottom level of the old two story disco.

I didn't know that. Unfortunately, no views from in there. Do you know what is in the upper level?

It's on Deck 4, same level as Schooner Bar, not the lower level on Deck 3.

Playmakers is on Deck 5 on the Royal Promenade, across from Cafe Promenade.

Now things make sense. What is in the lower level of the old disco,

Prior to embarking the Navigator, we always enjoy lunch and a couple(or a couple more) brews at San Pedro Brewing.

Sounds like a great idea. Never been there but hate the crowds onboard that first day.

Wait Jamie’s is not open for lunch anymore? Crap I was planning on that in 2 weeks!

Yes, they crammed more cabins in that space.

Yeah, Royal squeezing more profit from their amped ships.  Fortunately, I will say that I didn't notice the extra passengers once they added all the new cabins on the Navigator.
