Any current/recent Diamond level members on the Oasis?

Not having sailing on RCI for years, would like to take advantage of my Celebrity Elite status while on the Oasis next week. 

I have been reading varied information about access to the lounge byr Diamond level members if the ship has a high volume of Diamond Plus and higher members?  

 

Anyone on the Oasis now or recently who can share their experience?

On a cruise by cruise basis, diamonds may not be allowed into the lounge ONLY for the happy hour window. The rest of the day diamonds are allowed.

The diamond lounge on Oasis is depressing IMO.

So sad!  Along with Allure, it used to be best in the fleet overlooking the Boardwalk and Aqua Theatre.  They also served hot lunches from a menu with complimentary wine and beer.

 

Those days, however, are long gone.

 

Actually the lounge is less about location and more about the friends you can make.

I enjoy the free specialty coffees from the expresso machine in the morning and mid afternoon .

Location might bring more people, that could become friends, to the lounge.

The lounge also has a nice continental breakfast and afternoon/early evening appetizers.  Some D lounges have cookies in the afternoon.  If you want a drink ( alcohol/soda), you will need to use your daily vouchers.

The Diamond Lounge is now called the Crown Lounge. Hopefully you are not excluded from the lounge as a Diamond member during the CAS HH on your cruise.

We used it as a spot to play some cards with another couple - and have some chocolate covered strawberries in the afternoon!

It’s inside on most if not all oasis classes.  Only one that overlooks Boardwalk is Allure, for now.

Yes because some wonderful friendly people…… like us…….aren't that comfortable in a dungeon 😁😈
