We are taking our first b2b cruise in September 2017. We are captains club elite and we're wondering if our benefits are for each of the cruises.

Appreciate help from all you cruisers and captains club members.

you get elite benefits on both segments.

In addition, you may get more:

1)on the Alaska cruises, we received free laundry on second B2B cruise.

2)on the Med cruises, we received lunch in the main dining room on boarding day for second cruise segment.

hope this helps

Depending on the number of B2B cruisers you might get lunch in the MDR on embarkation day of the 2nd cruise. We also received additional internet minutes to complete the celebrity survey, some laundry perks, a spa special, and a 10% discount on excursions booked on board for the 2nd cruise. There is also a credit on each cruise based on the length of the cruise ($50 for each cruise on a 7 day cruise). If you did didn't get the credit, call Celebrity or your TA.

Thanks fellow cruisers for your very helpful responses. We have the same

Stateroom for both cruises and are looking to see more of Vancouver at change over day.

Does any one know how quickly we can go ashore on the changeover day?

We just returned from a B2B Caribbean on board the Equinox. You should receive a note in your stateroom with a date and location to meet for instructions on the turn-around day. We were surprised at the # of people doing the B2B, approx 100. So, on disembarkation day in Ft. Lauderdale, we met at a specified location, the staff took us off of the ship, Americans were separated from non Americans and back on ship sooner. Non Americans went through customs (Americans may have as well, but it was a much quicker process) and back on ship. The process took much longer than we expected, but you are really at the mercy of customs. You also have the option to do something at port and then return later in the day. Everything will be explained to you at your initial meeting on board. An unexpected perk was 1/2 price for specialty restaurant for the first night on 2nd cruise. Enjoy your cruise(s).

"1/2 price for specialty restaurant for the first night" of ANY cruise is a normal perk offered to almost everyone.

Yes, and also the lunch in the main dining room on the turnaround day is available to all B2B passengers who remain onboard and wish to eat there, regardless of whether there are many or only a few.

It is not as though they are preparing the lunch exclusively for us because there are always others who eat lunch there as well, such as visiting travel agents, concierge passengers, performers, and various other types of guests and visitors.

When they used to have Bistro on 5, they would offer lunch for the B2B passengers there, which we greatly preferred to the current lunches in the MDR.

It is a very large dining room and easy for them to set more or fewer tables each time, or open up more sections, as needed. Whenever we have been there for the turnaround day lunch, I noticed that they had a number of extra tables pre-set that went unused.

Wouldnt plan on past experiences of others. I found things vary from ship to ship and week to week.

We sailed B2B a few times in the last few years and never had a "special" lunch in the MDR.

There are too many variables and I think it depends on the port, ship, number of passengers, and etc.

Best is to ask Guest Relations when on board about the best way to leave and return to the ship.

Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌞

The B2B turn-around experience may be different in Canada than in the US. In Hong Kong they did not have to escort us off the ship and back on. We would not have had to get off the ship, just turn in our old ship card and pick up our new card during a specified period in the morning. And when you decided to go off the ship, they gave us a slip of paper that allowed us to bypass the the lines whenever we chose to reboard.

Not in our experience. 20 or 30% is generally the norm for 1st night. We also have only done one B2B in Alaska and don't recall any special perks related to that

I was going to post the same thing. Maybe for Elite+ but not for the rest of us. I was just on Silhouette and the best I was able to do was 30% off on the first or any other night.

Have done 5 B2Bs on X, only 1 offered lunch in MDR. On one they offered a coupon for a bag of wash & fold laundry (great for those who weren't elite. The best was one where we had a choice of laundry coupon, speciality restaurant discount or shore excursion discount.

One more for the pile...

We have been on B&B (Billions and Billions) of B2B cruises, sometimes we have gotten additional benefits, most times we have gotten nothing additional.

OBC

Lunches

Specialty dining

Additional Laundry

Captain's table

Free Drinks

Wine

But again, most times nothing.
