Lawn Club Grill

We reserved when we got on the ship - no payment in advance. Each cabin was charged for its meal

Just off the silhouette last week and the fee was $15 for lunch. It was well worth it and I loved it. I too thought it was $10 for lunch from reading it here, but it is $15 now.

Is LCgrill a new daily lunch option? or sea days only? I hope that's a new lunch option. Been a year+ since I was on a ship with LC-grill and back then it might have lunch 1 sea day a week.

LCG is our fav but we're trying suite/Luminae in April. Would be great to do a fresh-grilled burger at LCG for lunch. Thanks

It was only available on sea days. The burger was excellent! I had the ***. Next time I'm on a ship with LCG I will definitely go again. We had talked about after each getting a different burger and then splitting them so we can try more options next time. The Black n Blu burger sounded great too.

It comes with chips or onion crisps, the salad bar and an awesome dessert!

Was the menu reduced from dinner ? We can eat in Luminae so not really sure if 15.00 is worth it for a burger. Would love to try that Ultimate BBQ though, hope they have it on our next cruise.

No they did not reduce it. I get $15 being a lot for a burger but we had tons of OBC to use and wanted to try it. Dinner there was also excellent. That was either $45 or $50 per person but it was so good!

From memory they only do lunch once a cruise, just like Tuscan. The menu is a cut down version of the full menu- no Fillet steak or Salmon on irtbut most other items.

Try the burger for lunch in Luminae. One of the best anywhere IMO.

I thought the Kobe Slider in Sushi on 5 was just as good or better. It is probably half the size, but the LCG burger is very large. It is enough for a light lunch and only $8. You can get something else for more variety and still be around $15.

I thought the LCG special event was NOT worth the $89. I did a Med menu. It was packed full and served family style. There were just basic wines. The Chef/Host just introduced himself and then I never saw him again. The deserts were nothing special, some were from Oceanview.

For half the price a regular LCG dinner offers a nice variety of excellent food. Your meal is made and served just for you. Its usually not packed full.

Our UBBQ event was great. Chatted a long time with guest service manager Julie who was there first. Since we knew each other she introduced us to exec chef Tato. He stayed for the full event and turned out to be an excellent entertainer.

Food was served on big plates in the middle of the table- yes.

But that kind of was the sence of it - just like a BBQ!

That way everybody interacted and we had a great time.

BTW: I do not drink. When I only ordered Coke the Maitre noticed and, without me asking gor it, reduced the price quite a bit.

Try the burger for lunch in Luminae. One of the best anywhere IMO.

Bring the Lawn Club Grill to Equinox!!!

First enjoyed the LCG on Reflection in the Caribbean, grilled our own meal and the lesson and time doing it was great. Had the premium Beverage package so the drinks kept coming and the fun continued. At the end of the night we had all the chefs and serving staff sign the menu. My wife, without me knowing asked for the apron I wore but they said they did not do that. A couple of days later a knock at the cabin door and there was the aporn given to me at no charge.

Next sailing on Reflection was Eastern Med, ate at the LCG and brought the signed menu and asked staff to sign again, three of the staff had signed it the first time! They were so excited, pointing at their names and signing next to the first time signing.

Sailed Silhouette in the Baltics, had the great lunch that has been shared, brought the menu again and two of the staff was signing it for the third time!

LCG advertised the best hamburger anywhere. We went and ordered medium rare. Said they cannot do medium rare. Need I say more.

Ohh, don´t get me wrong. I did not expect, want or ask for a discount!

I booked the event for the advertised price and I would have been happy to pay the price for it. However, when the restaurant manager noticed I was only having diet coke he told me that he was going to reduce the price - without me asking for it!!! And that was a nice gesture!

Don't you just hate it when that happens? Staff is certainly overworked and their attitude shows it. Celebrity is definitely going downhill! ;)

We just committed to another cruise, our first time on the Silhouette. The first words out my wife's mouth was, "Do they have Lawn Club Grill?" We love LCG, our favorite specialty restaurant on Celebrity.

This thread is great. Before reading it, I was thinking why would I pay extra for just a grilled steak? Now I'm looking at the Celebrity site for the dining package since want Qsine and Murano.

The Filet Mignon is the best I ever had on a ship.

They use a special seasoning... much better IMHO than Tuscan Grille.
