  1. Diamond Princess starts to leave Europe this week. She will soon enter the Suez Canal, heading east to Singapore. After (possibly) picking up crew members from Asia, she will then sail the eastbound transpacific journey towards US West Coast.
  2. Thanks for letting me know. I just checked the 2023 schedule of Azamara and they will continue to have Norway cruises that visit Trollfjord next year. The itineraries look amazing.
  3. Trollfjord is quite narrow. Other than Hurtigruten and some small expedition cruise ships, I don't think any Oceania ships (O Class or even the smaller R Class) can sail into it.
  4. NCL Star will sail (for the first time) two similar cruises on 14th and 25th of July this year. There may be some reviews afterwards, if you wish to have the NCL-specific review.
  5. And even for the upcoming cruises in 2023 / 2024... 🙄
  6. Although the owner claimed it was an accident, but everybody knows this happened intentionally. 😔
  7. Haven't heard of this rule before. In my memory, the Cruise Next will be available of use immediately after it is issued (a few days after it is purchased onboard).
  8. Below ships highlighted in red are not yet delivered. 4 of them are under construction simultaneously now (World Europa and Euribia at St Nazaire, Seascape and Explora 1 at Monfalcone). Chantiers de l'Atlantique at St Nazaire Meraviglia Class 1 - Meraviglia 2017 Meraviglia Class 2 - Bellissima 2019 Meraviglia Plus Class 1 - Grandiosa 2019 Meraviglia Plus Class 2 - Virtuosa 2021 Meraviglia Plus Class 3 - Euribia 2023 World Class 1 - Europa 2022 World Class 2 - XXX 2024 World Class 3 - XXX 2025 World Class 4 - XXX 2027 Fincantieri at Monfalcone Seaside Class 1 - Seaside 2017 Seaside Class 2 - Seaview 2018 Seaside Evo Class 1 - Seashore 2021 Seaside Evo Class 2 - Seascape 2022 Explora Class 1 - 2023 Explora Class 2 - 2024 Explora Class 3 - 2025 Explora Class 4 - 2026
  9. I will be on the previous Baltic voyage (Jul 9) before yours. The cabin availability is similar. Almost all categories are available.
  10. But we cannot determine if these people intentionally book this cabin. Sometimes if you book a guarantee cabin, Royal Caribbean will assign an accessible cabin to you because there is no more regular rooms available.
  11. The Hong Kong to Sydney cruise on Royal Princess will be cancelled, but there will be a new reposition cruise from Vancouver to Sydney. Royal Princess will still stay in Australia from late 2023 to April 2024.
  12. I have to amend my previous reply for Isafjordur. It is a tender port for larger ships. Small and medium sized ships (tonnage up to approximately 70000) can moor at the pier.
  13. Isafjordur: Tender port, unless for the very small ships Akureyri: Usually docked. Check here for the pier: https://port.is/cruise-ships-2/ Reykjavik: Docked. Most of the large ships will moor at Skarfabakki. Check here for the pier: https://www.faxafloahafnir.is/cruiseships/
  14. Voyager of the Seas is too large to berth at the city centre. As shown from the port schedule, she will moor at KS Terminal. https://rop.lv/sites/default/files/2022-06/Copy of Kruiza kugu saraksts_13.06_.pdf
  15. CROWN Original: 7-night Alaska voyages, roundtrip Seattle New: 10-night and 11-night Alaska voyages, roundtrip Vancouver ROYAL New: 7-night Alaska voyages, roundtrip Seattle, replacing CROWN EMERALD Original: British Isles voyages, roundtrip Southampton New (1): Mexican Riviera & California & Hawaii voyages, roundtrip Los Angeles New (2): Canada & New England voyages, roundtrip New York, replacing REGAL REGAL Original: Baltic voyages, roundtrip Copenhagen New: British Isles voyages, roundtrip Southampton, replacing EMERALD SKY / ISLAND / DIAMOND The Baltic and Japan itineraries will remove Russian ports.
  16. This notification gives us the answer. ROYAL replaces CROWN for the original 7-night voyages (roundtrip Seattle). CROWN will have new 10-night and 11-night voyages (roundtrip Vancouver).
  17. I checked the sailing track. QE eventually berthed at pier last Friday.
  18. I believe your cruise will be in 2023? This year Riviera will not have any cruises departing from Southampton. The Southampton port schedule for 2023 is not published yet. It is still unknown which terminal (out of 5 terminals in total) that Riviera will moor at. If Riviera will be at Ocean Terminal 101 or Horizon Terminal 102, then Holiday Inn is just across the street. You can walk to the Terminals in around 15 minutes. Here is the view of an oceanview room of Holiday Inn.
  19. CruiseNext certificates are transferrable for unlimited number of times. NCL does not need you to provide any reasons. Person A can transfer to Person B, and Person B can subsequently further transfer to Person C / back to Person A again.
  20. This was a very old version of the deck plan, at least more than 10 years ago. At that time Diamond Princess was not yet refurbished and did not have the Izumi.
  21. No, I haven't received the email either, and never receive any emails every time. But the quizzes are usually posted on this link. I just bookmarked this page, and check it regularly every morning. https://pages.email.celebritycruises.com/EarnPointsSurvey Many helpful CC members have shared the PUP activities over the previous hundred of pages and I am always benefited from them. When I spotted the new quiz today, it's my turn to share this opportunity of earning points to everybody. 😁
