  1. πŸ€” The question was do you keep Aqua amenities if you Move Up to a suite. The answer is no - with the one exception being if your Move Up is into an Aqua Class Sky Suite.
  2. You still get spa access with an Aqua Sky Suite. It's just the suite + aqua product combined. https://www.celebritycruises.com/things-to-do-onboard/staterooms/suite-class/aqua-sky-suite
  3. No - you would only get Aqua privledges if your Move Up was into an Aqua Class Sky Suite.
  4. It is. Luminae is under Loyalty & Suites.
  5. That's just not how it works. There are a variety of group types, rates, etc. What you are describing is not allowed.
  6. They generally would already have to have suite space held for it to make sense. It would not be likely. That's not how it works. You can't hold inventory at one price and turn it at a profit. I'm not sure how you would have been in the know of the details on that situation but that is not allowed. Not really. You hold inventory in certain categories. You create a group and for you may hold 4 cabins in C2, C3, V1 and V2 for a total of 16 cabins. You don't hold specific cabin numbers. You can ask if they have any group space open but group space doesn't always mean you are getting a price discount either. There are also several restrictions on what and when a reservation could can be moved.
  7. Not exactly. Group space for suites is available however it costs the TA a lot more to hold it so it is less commonly found.
  8. Depends on the terminal. T29 does not have Facial Recognition facilities and if they have a Mobile Passport line they like to keep it a secret. T29 and T18 both have Facial Recognition so no Mobile Passport or GE necessary. Even in T29 the last few times I have been through have been quick. No where near the lines and waits of days past.
  9. I wouldn't expect prices to fluxauate on San Juan departures like they have on the Mexican Riviera. Those sailings were an anomaly for several reasons. SJ depatures used to be priced a little cheaper than comparable FLL/MIA sailings but that hasn't been the case the past few years. They have been pretty decent performers. Just book now and reprice later if the opportunity comes up.
  10. Generally not a fan of FBC for several reasons. The reservation agents are just that - reservation agents. They can't explain to you the algorithm for pricing tickets. It is totally possible that they can't see the same combination of flights and tickets as you are seeing. It is important to understand that there is not just one price for a ticket at any given moment. Some websites will have access to different fares or discounts. That same economy ticket on route A to B may be sold concurrently at several different prices.
  11. This was offered several years ago but hasn’t been available since maybe even pre-COVID. It’s been long a while. It was incorrectly listed on Royal Caribbean’s site over the weekend so I assume that’s why it has surfaced again.
  12. Nothing to worry about. You can add a resident rate into a group to get the benefits of both. There are all sorts of state/province discounts available. Ontario is very frequently on the list.
  13. I don’t think I’ve been on a cruise yet where some genius doesn’t put their toddler in a hot tub. More recently a couple had a kid that as a definitely more infant than toddler in there for quite some time. After all β€œit is their vacation too !”. πŸ€”
  14. You may have a longer timeframe given in the Future Cruise doc in your Guest Ticket Booklet for your upcoming cruise or the form they have onboard may be different. They will honor whatever form and timeframe is on the doc.
  15. You have to look at all of the rates available. There are definitely refundable options.
  16. The ole NCL approach. Toss grandma in a wheelchair then have your 30 family members pre-board to 'help'. If every Retreat guest brings their +1 +2, +10, that would rightfully cause some aggravation.
  17. I've never seen it charged per person. If you book a City Stay through the Cruise Planner it does initially show a per person charge, however when you go to add your guests once you select a single guest it should say Max Guest Selected. You can't "add" a second person at that point. If you are using Hotels By Celebrity (hotels.celebritycruises.com) those prices are definitely not priced per person.
  18. It's really a variable that has no right answer. I've smelled smoke at night more than during the day but I have no idea why that may be or if it's coincidental. On Beyond (and Ascent) deck 7 SV's are the top pick IMO. Much more shade and the overhang from the balcony above should prevent any soot on the balcony. Edge and Apex are setup differently.
  19. There has to be inventory open in the lower category to match the price. The good thing is the available upgradable categories are pretty large so you should have plenty of opportunity to get your request made when you book.
  20. Nice guesses but it's pretty obvious the name will be Excel or Vertex (not Vortex!).
  21. Constellation sailed yesterday from Tampa instead of Fort Lauderdale or Miami. The extra travel distance caused the later than normal arrival time.
  22. That does not work. When All Inclusive rates were rolled out with no option for Cruise Only, bookings dropped substantially. People can't or won't think through their actual spend. If they base price is $1,500 on Celebrity for All Included and $899 on RCL, they will book Royal then turn around and pay a la carte for their drinks, tips, WiFi, etc. I can't tell you how many times I've made people a detailed side by side cost comparison of two cruises and they don't get it. A decent travel agent will solve both of these concerns. I'm surprised so many cruise-savvy people on here do not take advantage of this. You can get a refundable rate and a hold on a specific cabin for far more than 24 hours.
  23. The bars with a designated closing time in the daily planner close at that time. Anything that says 'open late' will stay open as long as there are people there until 2am-ish in my experience.
  24. The requirement to pay the full deposit on some (most) group space is not new. I would say Celebrity is pushing group space now more than ever. The ability to keep the onboarding booking OBC varies by the group type. Celebrity's group program is one of the most valuable out there for agents and consumers - along with generous TA commissions. Very generous on some specific sailings.
