  1. $659 for an 8 night Symphony southern itinerary on Feb 10 looks amazing.
  2. No cable here. I've got three streaming subscriptions that serve all my needs. Hulu, Britbox and Espn+. I just recently subscribed to Britbox and have been enjoying all kinds of different shows that I had never heard of. Espn+ gets me unlimited hockey and Hulu picks up the slack with everything else. With all that and the odd rental of movies through Youtube I pay way less than if I was paying for cable.
  3. Of all the things I wish Royal would do... I wish dress codes were more stringently enforced. 😛
  4. How can it be full! They are only letting in the top 30 I thought. Has that changed?
  5. I've never had the Chops lunch where the filet wasn't on the menu.
  6. ditto. I did it once. They hang you out over the side of the ship which is cool but I'm one and done with the pay version. Looking out over the port is way better.
  7. When the Black Friday sale went one cruise out of the eleven I have on the books that dropped by about $75 dollars. Nothing since.
  8. There are far more tech savvy people on this forum than me but my understanding is that Bluetooth is independent of Wifi. For example my AirPods work with my iPhone by bluetooth whether I have data by cellular or wifi or not. I can put my phone in airplane mode, turn off all outside connections (wifi and cellular) and AirPods work fine exactly the same. The question is does the app on the iPhone require any sort of internet conectivity to function correctly. A simple way to test that is to put your phone in Airplane mode. Make sure your wifi is turned off but the bluetooth is turned on and connected to the Glucose monitor. You can then confirm that it functions the same way as usual. This will replicate the experience you have on the ship without the Voom wifi package.
  9. You don't need to book shows on Voyager. Don't miss the Ice Show it's the best entertainment on the ship.
  10. As long as they knock before entering I'm good with them coming in whether I'm there or not. I don't have any secrets I'm trying to hide while on a cruise.
  11. I have so many question I can't even begin!
  12. Thanks, I was thinking about trying. For some reason I thought the buy in was much higher.
  13. I have stayed in this exact cabin on Ovation, sister ship to Odyssey. No obstruction that bothered me.
  14. Nonsense, this is something that plagues all large groups who partially charter a ship. Only this one tends to be very kid heavy and the only one that I know that directly limits other cruisers dining options. I have a partial charter in February. I'm hoping it doesn't negatively impact my cruise but it might. I didn't know about this partial charter when I booked. The partial probably wasn't confirmed at that point. Would I have not booked if I had known? Possibly but more than likely I would have taken a chance because the price was really good at the time. I have done other cruises that had significant partial charters. One was an Aquafest cruise. I was worried about how that would impact my experience. Thankfully, it didn't and was one of my favorite cruises ever. It doesn't mean I have any implicit bias or prejudice against that group as your post implies people on this thread have. It means it altars the experience and for some significantly negatively. Instead of looking prejudice and offense how about a little empathy for those who unwittingly booked a cruise that may limit their expected enjoyment.
  15. About a month ago I got a 6 night cruise for Dec 2024 on Oasis for $1380 for 2 inc. taxes and fees out of FLL in a CP balcony. I thought that was a pretty decent price. I turned my Icon sailing into a S2S. 🙂
  16. Love Cats, I haven't seen it as much as the OP but I loved it when I saw it off-broadway and loved it on Oasis. What an awesome experience to meet the cast like that!
  17. Does it only show it available on sea days. If so I think you are probably guessing correctly that port days it'll be included. Kind of like Northstar
