Thanks Roy for your always informative trip report! Did you have CWC benefits and can you let me know how they were? I would appreciate it! I have been trying to find an itinerary on Cunard that fits our schedules. While researching and reading lots of things, I found where Cunard changed the internet benefit for CWC members from hours to monetary discount off their packages. Can anyone, that has used this since the change, tell me how that went for you? We are Diamond now and it says $135 towards package. I cannot really remember what the total hours we got before. Our last cruise was in 2019 Tok-Vanc and it was wonderful...cannot wait until the next one.

I did the Status match Cunard Diamond received MSC Black. Contemplating our first MSC cruise and was wondering if the 5% discount will apply or do I need to call to book?

We are contemplating trying MSC for their WC so did the status match with Cunard Diamond and got MSC Black.

Has the Tiki_Koro finished the cruise? It has been awhile since his last post. I hope we hear about the conclusion.

Only 3 suitcases total for a family of four is totally amazing as is your photo collage of outfits! You write so well that it makes reading nice and relaxing and I feel like I am there. I was not able to make the reservation in the app, but was able to make the reservation on the website with no problems as the "free" specialty dining credit appeared.

tried that and the only fare options are twice as nice low fare (Princess Standard), twice as nice drinks and wi-fi (Princess Plus), and Princess Premier. I tried to book many cruises but only those options ever came up and when I went to the end it always had a deposit of about 5-10% NO $1 DEPOSIT anywhere.

When I try to find a cruise I don't see any that have a $1 deposit. The only fares I see is the twice as nice, and do not see anything about 1$ deposit. Is this just for North America website?

Try using the website rather than the app. That is what I ended up doing. The credit showed up before I actually booked.

Cruzer Deb, I am so sorry to hear about the wi-fi and the struggles you had trying to share your journey with us. I am thankful you have come back to share those days and want to sincerely thank you for all of your effort. I hope you and your Mother had the most wonderful time together traveling.

Have you tried shutting down your phone and rebooting? I could not book either for our cruise in Sept but after I rebooted my phone it came up and I was able to book. I also went to take a look at the web version and it now has the ability for you to book dining options. I hope it works for you.

Love these types of threads and planning and packing suggestions and have read many of them! I can always find at least one suggestion that I did not have before. I also agree that all of this adds to the "vacation/trip" experience! If I book a cruise 18+ months ahead, it gives me so much enjoyment thinking about some aspect of the trip all along the way! It is starting to feel a bit more "normal" as well, since the last several years have curbed all of the enjoyment we can now feel again. Thank you to everyone who has added to the enjoyment!
