    Yikes. I guess I’m glad now we cancelled that cruise. I know they had some weather issues which are expected. I was concerned about the lack of entertainment and a few other things but the main reason we cancelled that long cruise was due to medical stuff.

    What a disturbing and scary thing you went through. I started reading it and was so relieved when you said you weren’t badly hurt.

    Really enjoyed all your posts and photos. Was wonderful following along. As much as we miss cruising we still are not ready to leave Canada yet so appreciate all that do these “live” threads.

    @kazu Your roll call get together looks like it was a lot of fun and good eats. You’re such a greater organizer, well done! Glad you are maneuvering your wheelchair-such progress. You’ll have lots of support on your cruise. Have a wonderful time making new, but different, memories.

    Thanks so much your report and info while at Bora Bora. I’m taking notes since we had to cancel this cruise but hope in future to do one. By then the ship may not be allowed in Bora Bora but time will tell.

    @kazu Well the silver lining in all this is that you picked a wonderful hotel to heal at. The staff sounds absolutely fantastic. Your photos are so nice to see and will look forward to more. I’m still disappointed that we didn’t get to sail together with the covid cancellations etc. Doubt I’ll get to anywhere in Europe now so I really appreciate people who “take us along” with them.

    @kazu oh no. I’m so sorry to read about your injury. Hoping the few days you have before boarding the ship helps to recover. Thankful you had your relatives to help you. Wishing you a swift recovery.

    Totally agree. It used to be only passengers but now anyone can wander in. I complained about that at YVR which is our domestic terminal.

    I’ve read others are also experiencing this. I’ve found you really have to watch your bill all the time.
