  1. and sometimes it works to the benefit of the customer... if the customer knows what they want🤑😈 that's why, even with a PVP, I may call on a Saturday morning and see what happens
  2. how do you know these specialty nights before boarding? - Is this now in the APP?
  3. may have been answered in the 14 pages previously ... is the UBD ( ultimate balcony dinner ) available to be booked again?
  4. frozen drinks - yes - rum & coke - yes both included in the package it's just there are no fountain soda's on PC - no fountain 'guns' - only canned soda's
  5. can soda's can be bought - separate from package ... beer is included in the package.
  6. no fountain soda ( included in the package ) available at PC
  7. Does Princess do anything 'special' on board ? Fireworks ? It will be the 1st at sea day, so formal night? ( unless day 1 at Princess Cay is )
  8. now, just how many posters are going to be asking about how they can extend their "FCC's" earned from cancelled cruises and not paid future cruise DEPOSITS
  9. that changed a few years ago when excursions had to be paid when booked. Princess started adding OBC 'earlier' so you could book those excursions using posted OBC. Previous to that you could 'reserve' excursions without payment
  10. nothing to stop Princess even after that if it happens - Princess will send collection letter(s) and possibly report to credit bureaus
  11. that is just amazing to me ... and that the Captain on the ship also somehow makes a difference. Now we like it if we find out certain people ( Junella, Julius, Ajay, Carmen ) may be on the ship we choose, but it certainly is not a factor in choosing that cruise. amazing ... maybe we are just not 'cruise savy' enough.
  12. first off, can we stipulate that catching the 'rona now on a cruise ship is all about the quarantine period, and not the actual illness itself ?
  13. correct - but at least for now, I keep getting advance notice emails about upcoming "events" and can book before released to the 'general public' on their website ... because, well, I'm special and all that ...🦄
  14. I guess we're very fortunate ... we can schedule the rapid PCR tests ( drive thru ) about 15 minutes drive from our house or so, 45 minute test and paper results, 15 minute drive back home, thru the health department - no cost, with or without insurance did this before ( and after ) our last cruise
  15. m Make it a double ! @Thrak
  16. they can refare after final ... even if you have a PVP that states you can't ...
  17. we will book the inaugural out of FTL/PE ... if that happens - hopefully a little 3-4-5 day 'shakedown' to PC and other? - of course it will be about the ship as the destination...
  18. what was the 'purple top' in the mini bar ? do any of the pools have steps and not the dreaded ladder ?
  19. it's been reported here, that the non-positive cabin mate may leave the ship at an eligible port. This may come at a cost to the passenger as the cruise wasn't completed to the returning port. The positive cabin mate can serve the quarantine period as described, and once negative test and released, can complete the cruise and even book additional cruises.
  20. thanks for posting about the 'issues' - great to have an additional/opposing/fresh look at some of the technical issues on cruise ships. opposing may not have been the pc word, but ...
  21. there is a 4 device plan ( or used to be )
  22. and don't forget the other options the cabin mate(s) who didn't test positive for Covid also have ...
