Offers received from Club Royale (Royal Caribbean)
RFerrington replied to Daghis's topic in Cruise Casinos
When we were still getting offers, they were generally less than 7 nights on older ships. We’re not even getting those anymore. 😢 -
Icon of the Seas Blocks Are In The House!
RFerrington replied to Lloyd555's topic in Royal Caribbean International
@Lloyd555 thank you so much for these revealing photos/videos. I had read somewhere that there would be a place in the Suites Lounge where you could look down into the AT. Any idea where that might be ? The SL isn't even denoted on the deck plans - at least, I haven't found it. -

RoyalUP? (Bid for stateroom upgrade)
RFerrington replied to John&LaLa's topic in Royal Caribbean International
You should consider yourself extremely fortunate if this is actually what happened. Internet is not complimentary on NAV nor any other Vision, Radiance, Voyager or Freedom class ship. It is complimentary only for Oasis, Quantum and Icon class ships when booking a full suite. -
What to do.. Opinions please

Awesome ! Glad you got someone who knew what they were doing. It’s hard to find those people… -

I think this is incorrect. I would call again. You would lose $100 PP of your original $500 down payment but I still think you could do it. Booking a casino comp shouldn’t affect your ability to move your booking. -
This is why we always tip at each meal. You never know if you will be back or not or if you would see the same people again. Tip as you go. It's far easier that way.

1. No dedicated suites restaurant (No Coastal) on Vision but you will get a complimentary breakfast in a specialty restaurant (almost certainly, Chops). All other meals will be either in the MDR or specialty restaurants (extra $$). 2. Since you are in a full suite and will be [equivalent] Diamond C&A level due to your X status, you will have access to both the suites lounge and the diamond lounge. The nightly happy hour beverages in the suites lounge will be complimentary. If you go to the Diamond lounge for Happy Hour you would have to use your C&A vouchers for your drinks, so it is in your best interest to stick to the Suites lounge for your nightly drinks. Enjoy Vision. She is an older ship but very elegant. She is one of our favorites.

I sent in my renewal in early June as well. They cashed my check on 6-13-23. I checked my status yesterday - still "processing" 😒 but I didn't pay anything extra for expediting anything so I'm sure I will wait the full 10-13 weeks. No biggie. My BC is working splendidly. Have used it 3 times so far. They can take all the time they want at the State Department.

What are drink vouchers? We never sailed RC
RFerrington replied to barric's topic in Royal Caribbean International
If you want them to use it they will. If you want to save your voucher for something more expensive, just tell them not to use a voucher. -
I can understand your frustration. If I had worked hard and achieved Signature and still not getting any offers, I would be very unhappy. We are both Prime and we're getting no offers but being Signature would be worse.

Question about Black Friday specials
RFerrington replied to temple1's topic in Royal Caribbean International
They will. B2B are great !! ...and very easy. Be sure that "they" know that you are doing a B2B. If you are in a suite, the Concierge can help with that. If you aren't in a suite, just drop by Guest Services on day 1 or 2 and make sure they have you down as B2B'ers. See you onboard !! -

RoyalUp- neighborhood balcony room, noise with a baby?
RFerrington replied to LT4221's topic in Royal Caribbean International
Not sure what you are referring to with "Promenade Balcony". No such thing. Could be a Promenade interior, which has no balcony or could be one of the inward facing balconies (Boardwalk or Central Park). Both of the inward facing balcony options have their share of noise issues but if I had to choose 1 which I would think would be the quieter, I would go with the Central Park balcony. The noise on the Boardwalk can be significant at a variety of times of the day and night. In CP, you will have some noise from the pool decks during the day and in the evenings could be some music from down below but generally, pretty tame. On the Boardwalk, you could have the Aqua Theater noise blaring or noise from the raucous on the Boardwalk. Frankly, the quietest of all the options would be an oceanview balcony but as you noted, they could be located in a million different places all over the ship. Good luck with the RoyalUp. -

😒 Even if it is a shi**y offer, at least you got one ! We've gotten bupkis for months now ! -
We were on Oasis recently; there was a guest who went around the casino with her "candy purse" open, liberally dispensing candy to the dealers and pit crews. None of them asked for any of it. She was completely obnoxious. The crew would smile at her and accept her candy and then roll their eyes when she walked away. I even saw a few of the crew who would see her coming and go the other way. Those who accepted the candy would set it to the side and my guess is, it went into the trash when they walked away from the table. Don't be one of "those" people.

Recently,, the RU invitation came the same day we checked in for our cruise, so 45 days prior to sailing.
