  1. The only exception is for Izumi Hibachi. To make a reservation for the hibachi, you must go to Izumi. They do not control the hibachi reservations anywhere else.

  5. Ditto. I am delighted with the once-a-day service. It seemed like we were constantly dodging the attendant who was always trying to get into our room for some reason. Towels once a day, make the bed and empty the trash. Check to make sure I have enough toilet paper. Goodbye.
  6. I have also never had any problem whatsoever with the ship's laundry. ...and boy, do you get to be a pro at stuffing that bag ! Amazing what you can get in there when you know how to ease and shove things into the corners.
  7. You don't. Until you do. The Genie can usually get you into a specialty restaurant even when the restaurant is otherwise, "full". The biggest advantage of the Genie is the ability to make last-minute changes that would otherwise result in being turned away for the date and time you want.
  8. I have been reading of both scenarios (keep their status or lose their status) so I don't know what the actual truth is at the moment. In the olden days, the policy was that you shared status but not points...and your status remained at whatever level it was when they turned 18, regardless of how many points they had (or didn't have). They were never reverted back to the status that reflected their number of points. I have read many accounts recently of children's status being reverted back to reflect their actual points. Not sure if the policy has changed (without informing anyone, BTW) or if there are just some ill-informed LA that are doing it wrong.

  11. I called Club Royale and they confirmed that this is an error and I should just ignore it. How ridiculous.
  12. We were able to get 14 separate price reductions on our Christmas Oasis cruise in 2022....but that was certainly an anomaly. Other than that one cruise, almost no price reductions at all.
