If the Disney Wish is there the other ship could be Mariner of the Seas. My marine app is not doing to good but Mariner was headed to CoCo cay according to the app and is in the vicinity. But it says tomorrow. So I guess not...Really the marine app shows no ships at CoCo Cay. I guess if they had been there they would have sailed away by now.
RC might allow other cruise lines to call under some circumstances. I don’t know why but I know Disney Wish was one of the ships that had to skip Nassau. Perhaps there was a logistical reason or emergency reason and Royal gave permission.
It is too bad the OP sent in their perfectly valid passport for renewal because if confusion. Hopefully the renewal will arrive in time. If not they have no choice but to use their birth certificate. One thing people should understand is that if it is a closed loop cruise where a birth certificate can be used then the passport does not need 6 months. Think about it..... birth certificates have no expiration date.
That is true but it is a remote possibility. When it happens a temporary passport has to be obtained. If there is a need is to be evacuated a waiver is obtained. About 50% of passengers who ar eon a closed loop cruise travel with a birth certificate. Even though a passport is recommended many do use a BC.
There is not a normal side that any ship faces at the Dockyard. Ships can dock either port or starboard. There are different factors involved, maintenance (painting) testing lifeboats, and wind speed and direction on the day the ship arrives that go into whether a ship docks port side or starboard side there.
Martinique and Guadeloupe are not independent countries. They are part of France and the EU. They have representatives in the French government. The residents are French citizens. France makes the rules. If you were visiting France you would need a passport. I suspect that is the reason.
A confused agent. I would have asked for a supervisor if I did not have my passport. If I was traveling to Puerto Rico and it was not for a cruise I would not have had my passport since it is a US territory. .
For the mansions we took one of the trolly tours. The transit center was a short walk from the through tender port. Bought a ticket there. It was either 3 or 4 hours. Afterwards do the cliff walk. There is also a bus you can hop on and off for DIY. I liked getting the tour with the guide telling me about the mansions. No need to rent a car. Your post should be moved to the Canada/New England board. Scroll through that board there and you will find info.
Because it is based on her husband looking. She didn’t say her husband was uncomfortable. As far as Muslims if they go to the beach in the Caribbean or the pool on a ship they are going to see skimpy clothes. I have no idea if that would make Muslims uncomfortable. Certainly you are not saying that there should be a rule in western countries that skimpy clothing should not be allowed since Muslims might be uncomfortable? Same in the MDR. Some may be uncomfortable with certain dress but that does not mean there is or should be a rule.
The only time I ever order a second entry is one the first one I ordered was not good. I neve had much of the first entry. Unfortunately that happened too often on Celebrity. I have had too desserts. I would order a dessert item plus ice cream.
I think smart shorts are going to be allowed no matter what a sign says or is on a website. The fashion police are going to be disapointed if they think there won't be some passngers in the MDR wearing shorts. The real question is will Celebrity make it official that shorts are allowed.
You are okay with a passport card for ID for the cruise but if you have an emergency on the cruise you won’t be able to fly back with it. You will have to get a temporary or emergency passport. A passport is recommended.
I don't blame crew for not returning after the way they were treated at the outbreak of the pandemic. Probably will be difficult to recruit crew for a while yet unless they give really good offers.
