When she picks up her sea pass card she can enter the cabin and watch it on the TV then sometime during the afternoon before sailing get to the muster station to check in. Not that complicated. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

I think they are doing this because many passengers in the past would book a lot of cruises in the high end suites without planning on doing them. They just wanted to have the suites or other cabins in prime locations and booked just in case they decided to go on one of them. Before finale payment if there wasn’t a price drop or great promo they would cancel without and monetary loss. It is the same as people that would book many appointments with a doctor and cancel most. They just wanted to have one available if needed. My wife’s cousin did that. We found out when my wife mentioned that she tried to make and appointment and the earliest was 2 months. Her cousin said she does it the smart way. She books many and then cancels if not needed. My wife got in earlier as she put her name on the list for being available if there was an opening. It is almost the same as people causing shortages on TP. Stock up but not needed. You can take a hair dryer. The problem may be access to the outlet. There is an outlet in the lavatory but it won’t support a hair dryer. The dryer will kick out the CB. There is an outlet in the cabin by the desk but depending on the hair dryer plug there may not be enough space around it for the plug. My wife’s had a large plug with a CB on it on it and it wouldn’t fit. To be safe take one with a straight standard plug. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

It depends on the current promotion. If the current price doesn’t have the additional OBC you will not get it. Trade one for the other. You want the OBC or a lower cost? If you will use the OBC then it is worth paying the extra. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅🇸🇦

The one that I am on at the time. They all have their own charm and features. The Officers, CD, and activity crew can also make a difference. The cabin category and location also gives a different cruise experience on the same ship. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

We have done a few rain forest and other walking tours. The issue we found was we spent most of the time looking at the ground watching our footing and not seeing much of the forest except for the path On one cruise a couple was walking thru town on one of the Caribbean island. She wasn’t watching her step and her foot got stuck under a bent pipe sticking out of the ground on a poorly maintained sidewalk. She feel fell forward, broke her ankle, broke her nose, and broke her arm. She was SOL. Besides being strenuous it can be hazardous. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

I think most at the event had a drink package. The drinks that were served weren't worth the alcohol consumption considering we could get premium drinks that we enjoy. If I didn’t have a drink pack I could “force” myself to drink them plus the extra that was available and maybe like we did when young and dumb raid the other tables. 😱🤗 It was held on the last night at 5 pm. The photo was taken at 5:30 and most were already leaving. As you can see from the photo the glasses almost full. Left there and went to the Retreat Lounge for a Markers Old Fashion. The BT there knew how I like it. Heavy on the bourbon, not much sweetener, and a splash of Grand Marnier and don’t top it off with seltzer as most of the BTs would do. They also had Luxardo cherries and large ice cubes. Makers was the best bourbon they had. They did have Bulliet but I prefer Markers to that. There was no Woodford. Supply issue. Drink up 🍷🍸🍹🍺🥤🧉🍾🧋🥂🍻

We were on the Equinox in Nov. At that time it was being rolled out on a trial basis. We were told it was only on 2 ships. it is an Elite Plus or above event. It was listed on the sheet you get for your CC level benefits. A RSVP is required These are our drinks when we left. Sad excuse for a Mai Tai, Manhattan, Kir Royale, and I think a Cosmo. We did both. The mixology 101 was at the WCB. I think it depends on the BT doing it. Ours was not hands on. There were 4 of us. The BT made 5 different drinks. He explained a few things about the basics of making a mixed drink. When making the drinks he told us what he used and the portions. The 5 drinks were full size drinks it was a lot to drink in 45 minutes. The price was $29.99 plus 20% gratuity. It was fun but one and done. Really didn’t learn much as it was just basic stuff you can pick up on UTube or any spirit maker. Ex on Makers Mark’s site they always have a video showing how to make a featured drink. A few of the drinks were a Espresso Martini, Citrus Mojito, and Daiquiri, In Nov we went to the Elite event Music and Mixology. Not the same. We got 4 drinks. We couldn’t hear what the BT was saying because the band was over powering him. The drinks weren’t that good. If we didn’t have a drink pack it would have been worth drinking for the free booze. I think must attending felt the same as there were many almost full glasses when we left. Drink up 🍸🍻🍹🧉🍾🧋🍷🥤

Booking a cruise is getting too confusing. They need to KISS it. Here is the rate. This is what you get. Get rid of the difference between refundable and refundable rates. If you book a cruise and cancel you forfeit x amount. Plain and simple. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

They have draft beer at a few bars. I think it is the pool bar, Sunset bar and Craft Social. I have seen Heineken plus something else at Craft Social I may be wrong and if I am too bad. My advice is free. 🤗 There aren’t that many bars so the best advice is to walk around and see what is offered at them, and I am sure they do have Heineken on draft. Drink up 🍺🥂🍷🍸🍻🍹🧉🍾🧋🥤

We did a self test when on board because we were feeling a little different and had the tests. They showed positive. We never took those test before and we weren’t sure If we did them right. We wanted to know if we had Covid as we didn’t want to expose others if we did. We called medical and they told us to come down. We went there and were treated as If we shouldn’t be there. We told them why we were there and they acted as if they didn’t know what to do. We sat there and eventually someone came out and gave us a test and told us to go back to our cabin and wait for the results. We did as instructed. About 2 hours later we got a call that we tested positive and would have to be confined to our cabin for 5 days. After that If tested negative we were free to go. We didn’t have insurance thru Celebrity. We have a policy thru a 3rd party to cover medical. I don’t feel the need to insure the cost of the cruise as that is money spent. I don’t want the medical catastrophe expenses. Our refund came from Celebrity pro rated for the days in isolation. Celebrity was very fair and accommodating. We have no complaints except they should have told us that the TA had to apply for the refund. We are tired of room service. We were in a suite and learned a lot about room service. If you don’t order it you don’t get it. Ex order Celebrity burger and fries and that is what you get. No condiments. Nothing on the burger. Most of the stuff arrived cold. It was because of the distance from the restaurant to the cabin. Medical checked up every day but didn’t provide anything. We actually felt like we had a cold. We probably could have ignored our tests but morally we didn’t want to be responsible for Infecting others by ruining their cruise or possible death. The crew knew what we did and were grateful that we that we did. When we came out of isolation they all recognized us and thanked us for our concern about their health and safety. They said that they know many don’t do what we did. We did the right thing and would do it again. I don’t want to be responsible to jeopardize the health and safety of others.😒 As a side note we heard that Felix a server we had many times in Blu died from Covid. I would have a very hard time knowing that I was cause of anyone dying because I was selfish and wanted to “enjoy” the cruise I paid for. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

Won’t hear “Low Rider”, “ Tequila” and etc while having breakfast in the buffet. You will need to keep track of time for the activities that you plan on doing. There are no constant announcements for them. Entertainment isn’t as good. Not many comedians, one at most. Magicians seem rather lame doing stuff that is easy to figure out. Hit or miss on guest entertainers, and that depends on what you like. A little more laid back. You will be treated as an adult instead of trying to make you feel like a spring breaker, but there are always exceptions. Very few towel animals if any. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

We were told it would be automatic and that we wouldn’t need to do anything. After waiting 1 month I called Celebrity to find out the status. There was nothing on file . It was as if it was out of sight out of mind. I told them our situation and was told it would be looked into. I received a call back but missed it. I made many calls and also received call back calls from them telling me what documentation I need to submit. . After many more calls to Celebrity and being on hold for hours and talking to different departments I was finally told that since it was thru a TA they would have to make the submission. Called my TA and had to submit the documents to them. 2 weeks later we received our refund. Keep a journal of the calls you make listing the time, date and who you talked to. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅

Great time on board. Wear your colors. My wife and I always wear a MSU shirt when they were playing. It was amazing how many would approach us and say they are Spartan fans and wanted to take a picture of us to sent to their Spartan friends. We will be on board the Beyond from March 19 thru April 2. We always have a Spartan Flag on our door. Spartan Nation needs a lot of support and prayers because of the recent tragedy that happened on the campus. Because I am hungry and just came back from a day in the port and don’t want to clean up and get dressed to dine in the restaurants. We can go there wearing our shorts, tank tops, flip flops and what ever. Then we can go to our cabin, clean up and get ready for the evening. Happy cruising 🌊🚢🇺🇸🌅
