It depends on the location .Are you driving on a highway ,city streets ,etc.

I would try to get to the port no later than 10:30am.

If you aren't planning to get there right before boarding ends...leave 2 hours early. That gives you plenty of time to get there and get checked in.

I'd aim to be there at 11am. I would allow about 30 mins extra for traffic, parking, etc....

If you ship departs at 4pm, as long as you're there in the check in line by 2:30, you'll be good.

Rotflmao. OP....agree to try and get there by 10:30. Friday morning traffic in Bayonne can be rough. Have a wonderful cruise

We try to get to Bayonne between 10 and 10:30 when we sail from there. I would give myself at least 2 hours because you will be driving through the end of rush hour. I would use Google maps or some other navigation app, at the time you will be leaving, on one of the Friday's prior to your cruise. It will give you an idea of traffic conditions at that time of the day. Obviously, if there is a major storm or accident, the information will not be helpful, but it will at least give you some idea of what to expect.

In my area Google Maps on my pc and Android phone is pretty good at predicting travel times based on current traffic conditions.

This sounds like the math problems we got in jr high school....if car A left at (time) and car B left at (time) and car A encountered no traffic and car B encountered a traffic jam. Where would each car be in 1 1/2 hr.
