Cabanas at Barefoot Beach, Labadee

Recommended Posts

My wife and I are thinking about renting a cabana at Barefoot Beach when we are at Labadee, but we need an idea of the cost for our budgets. Any info would be helpful.

Depending on location/type, $300 - $500.

For our upcoming sailing, currently Standard @ Barefoot is $295, Hilltop is $395, and Waterfront is $395. At Nellie's, standard is $316, and Over Water is $396.

Price may have come down, last I recall the Over Water was $495.

I believe there's no extra cost for putting the towel down. However, if you want an umbrella ...

Love barefoot beach.

Been there 8 times, 7 as a suite beach and once when all shared it before the WALLS WENT UP:o

We have always gotten three loungers under the trees, and enjoyed free snorkel gear, floaties and a fun relaxing day.

We do an excursion or two, so never got a cabana, but when we do two excursions for three people, whether it be zip line and jet ski, it adds up to more than the cost of a cabana.

So enjoy what you like.

The cabanas only once were completely occupied.

It seems that when we checked in the gate keeper kept trying to rent us one.

Had our attendant that got us drinks (we had drink package) floaties and snorkel gear.

Yup we tipped him

Left our wet towels there in the bin, did not have to lug them back on board.

Love the area.

Safe travels.

The 12/31/17 oasis sailing is $594 for over the water on Nellies too. I booked it months ago at $495. We are a group of 6 so cost isn’t too bad. I doubt we will get one again in the future though. Between the high cost and losing the upgraded buffet at barefoot beach, it just isn’t worth it to me anymore (especially if it’s just me and DH).

Here are a couple of photos I took of Barefoot Beach. You can see there are plenty of lounge chairs (at no extra cost) with your choice of sun or shade.

The cabana prices are outrageous but I guess if they are sold out then that is the correct price. I paid $175 for a standard cabana at Barefoot Beach in 2016.

Not what it looks like now. As Island Lady said, most of the OTW ones are gone.

They have added several umbrellas for the loungers. No Charge. ;)
