The new walkway is the bit of red carpet, the rest of the passengers walk between the blue tapes.

I thought everyone was supposed to be a VIP on Celebrity ??!! Remember that long-ago Ad Campaign..."Starring You" ?

Now this is the type of super duper elite perk I've been talking about. Certainly cost effective with little or no impact on the bottom line. A velvet roped section in the theater and now a red carpeted walkway, thtat's how you say "SPECIAL"!

on a recent cruise I heard the "top cruisers" 2 couples, one for each seating's capt club party were the "VIP's", so elites won't even get it, except the big elites.

Definitely deck 1- small portholes = crew cabins. Deck 4 is the outside deck
