What you get depends upon whether you've been "naughty or nice".

Ours was fine on IE...both of our cards and the link Posted at both work and home. Different versions of IE - no issues shaking :)

Received the email card today also. First tries, had a black screen. :( Tried it an hour later, and it worked like it should. Shook the globe several times and received all the good wishes. Thought it was very cute, Using Microsoft.

Black screen on my Windows 7 desktop with Internet Explorer 11.

 

And with Google Chrome V 38 (latest).

 

Works on my Windows 7 desktop with the latest Chrome... and with IE 11. Probably a Flash problem...

I have a Mac and using Safari and it worked. They have sent better cards in years past. I would hope for better wishes than having batteries included.

 

I have deleted it and don't remember what technology they use but if using a Mac, make sure you have Java, Flash and Flip4Mac up to date.

Found it in my trash and they are using Flash. Update flash on Mac or PC and that may help.

It doesn't appear to be OS or Browser specific when it doesn't work, it is (probably) related to Adobe Flash player and being up to date on that.

 

Though there are probably some whose systems can not load the latest version of Flash.

 

If it isn't working for you, go to Adobe's website and download Flash player.

You get a snow globe with a Grand class ship inside.

 

With the curser you can grab the globe and shake it.

 

Once shaken. a saying (one of several possibilities) will appear such as "you find a good spot at the shopping mall" or "batteries are included."

 

It works on my desktop with IE.

 

Not sure if the link I provided will work for anybody else.

I got the email and a black screen. When I tried the link in the first message in this thread it worked perfectly. Same computer, no updated software in between, so I have no idea why one worked and the other didn't.
