dacsmom Posted September 3, 2014 #205 Share Posted September 3, 2014 Welcome to Charleston, it is supposed to be a beautiful day. I am glad to hear Judith is feeling better. I wish RCI had a cruise out of Charleston, I can see the ships docked from where I work.

Trainman-2 Posted September 3, 2014 Author #207 Share Posted September 3, 2014 The Cruise Terminal is in the "Warehouse District" but as we left the terminal area the old US Customs House which is in the main Historic District was right across the street. I suspect the Terminal was once a warehouse. The "Fleet Landing" was once the place where sailors coming ashore from the ships landed. Now it is a restaurant. There are no US Navy Shipshome ported in Charleston these days. A long walk... The Restaurant A Local Bird slogs through the mud..

shelbylook Posted September 3, 2014 #211 Share Posted September 3, 2014 Two shots coming into Charleston early this morning. Did you realize you were taking a photo of my Jim's ship, the USS Yorktown CV-10? He was on her in the Pacific during Vietnam. He'll be tickled to see your photo. We visited Patriots Point many years ago. Glad Judith is feeling better! Cathy

Deatsch Posted September 3, 2014 #213 Share Posted September 3, 2014 I dont' know whose post it is, but the stupid bugs are irritating. They're only on the first page, but really? Apparently there is a new requirement on CC. Please check your FUN at the door.

BND Posted September 3, 2014 #215 Share Posted September 3, 2014 (edited) Apparently there is a new requirement on CC. Please check your FUN at the door. Of course you had to go what? back to page 2 or so to post this. Thanks so much! I'm hardly the only one who mentioned them and I'm not talking about the one you have. These were like gnats all over the screen which means someone did more than just post them in their signature. I actually used to have the one bug you have saved to use. But, thanks, I do have lots of fun. Now, how about we let the live report continue? Edited September 3, 2014 by BND

Thank you for your service Sir, however, I was merely reading the thread. Perhaps I was supposed to start on page 11 and go backwards. I'll try to do better, honestly. I SO enjoy some of you clowns who tell everyone what to do and how to do it. Go read a book. Note to self: find the 'ignore' button. My point was, it wasn't necessary to repost after so many pages and this thread is really about the review. Unfortunately, Judith is not yet back to her normal self and is not eating much. She still feels a bit queezy...
