Offers received from Club Royale (Royal Caribbean)

I spoke to CR about a month ago and they said information regarding our "free cruise", as well as tier, would be emailed out in the next 2-3 weeks, which would have been by the end of May/18, well, June 3/18, and still no emails. You would think all of the glitches would have been worked out by now.

I have been following this thread and responses. I was just in Anthem on 4/21 earned 7000 points a free balcony certificate, but the certificate limits the use to the dates on the back or 1000 off any cruise. I booked Oasis for July through my junket host who actually gets me better offers than CR offers. If you have any significant play get in touch and I will provide his info. It’s worth a call to compare.

I have not seen anything from CR about new program, or player level. So I just phoned in. The rep had nothing to offer except "the emails are going out". Couldn't tell me card levels, perks, or where I stand.

Real informative ?

I cruised early April and on board is when I was given info and on board perks for my player level by Casino Host. On board my cruise late April Casino Host had the info. And it is now June and the people who answer the phones at Club Royal still do not have that information. Seriously.

I just called to book a cruise using my latest offer for a complimentary room. Turned out my husband had a better offer, but he never received an email telling him about it! Neither one of us received anything onboard at the end of our last 3 cruises, although apparently we had earned something. I used his offer for the cruise, and still have my offer....if we can fit another cruise this year!

It's sad that people still aren't receiving their promotional emails from Royal Caribbean. After a long period when I wasn't getting any (from RC directly or from Club Royale), it finally started working. I'm afraid to change anything in my profile out of fear that I might somehow stop it.

Of course, all the promotional emails I receive from Club Royale are for sailings in the next few months, and I'm booked up on cruises until fall 2019. I just don't have the flexibility at this point to add cruises on, especially when it's generally advantageous to book early when the prices are usually around their lowest, and also since they love repricing cruises if you try to apply any sort of Club Royale benefit.

If they are cruise certificates you should be able to stack them and use them both on the same new booking (as long as they meet the deadline criteria). You cannot combine certificates with other kinds of casino discounts (anymore) but you can still use multiple certificates from husband+wife.

I'm hoping to become a last minute cruiser in 2019. Only 1 booked in 2019 and 2020.

I tried to use a second one, they said only one. They were both in Laura's name

I currently have a certificate for a free balcony for selected cruises or 1000 off any cruise from my last cruise that expires on the 8th. None of the cruises listed will work so I will probably take the 1000 off. I am going to call tomorrow and book something. Probably next March for my daughter and myself. It will be interesting to see the price I end up with.

The were not certificates, but email offers.

So I called today to book a cruise with the certificate I have. I did a mock booking online first to get a baseline. The end price ended up being exactly $1000 off the mock booking. No casino rate with certificate. She said they are hoping to have the info out on the new program by the end of the month. They have no information on the free cruise for the tiers.

Also if I need to change my cruise date after the 30 day booking window, I will lose that discount.

It’s been like this for a while. Casino certs are off regular promo rates only. Not dollars of casino rates like they used to do back in the day.

The ****ty part is, to get the best pricing to begin with you need to book a cruise more than a year out. Can’t use certificates or get casino rates. Then once it’s under 12 months, then you try to apply a certificate they have to RE-PRICE the sailing at current rates. Most off the time the rates have gone up more than the value (or close to) the certificate value so this doesn’t work. Now it’s a gamble (haha) to WAIT to book something under a year out.

The proverbial “end of the month” line continues from CR Reps. We’ve been hearing this for MONTHS!!!

Worse... it's been YEARS. The previous program had been in place until mid-March 2016. They've been repeatedly promising to tell us "real soon now" about the new program since that time.

It's not only disappointing; it's embarrassing, not only for them, but also for us who have been "loyal to Royal" when we would normally be talking about how wonderful Royal Caribbean is to other cruise casino enthusiasts, only to have our message colored by "but Club Royale..." thoughts.

So it looks like the free cruise you need to sail before March 2019. I was hoping I would be able to use it on my May 2019 sailing.

I knew what my tier was when I sailed in April and received my tier benefits.

Has anyone received info on the comp cruise that goes along with tier level?

I got my tier on my cruise in May. There was no info about the free cruise though. Just that I would get one.

If you haven't received the email re tier program, check your spam folder, that's where mine landed.

Good advice!

I got my tier email with the chart of status and benefits for each level this afternoon. First I've seen from them with the perks all spelled out, and a name attached to my tier. I sailed in December, earned a free cruise certificate, but wasn't able to use it within the time limits. Hopefully once the reps all get up to speed on things, I can call in and book. :)

Just got my CR Tier email an hour ago. Well that is some progress. From reading here. Might be a few weeks before CR is ready to discuss the annual "free cruise".

Consensus here is have to take by March 31,2019 ? I sure wish it was out another year. I have 2 booked already.

Mine was lower (choice) than what they told me/I received on the Oasis in April. Even confirmed my “prime” level via discussion with CR rep 2 weeks ago when I was trying to reprice my next cruise.

Somehow not surprised by their screw up.

Let’s see if they make it right.
