Is this for new bookings only? I have free grats and specialty dinner right now. I guess I'll have to see how much OBC is offered for a BB cat balcony. I have OBC (incl FCC) from my TA. What's the new gratuities? 12.95 a day?

Effective on voyages departing on or after January 1, 2016, the gratuity charge will be $13.95 per guest for mini-suites and suites, and $12.95 per guest for interior, oceanview, and balcony staterooms.

No precise dates yet , just saying over 700 sailings.

Your TA should see the ships, dates and rates a few days before the Sale begins.

6-DAY WESTERN CARIBBEAN

November 2016 – April 2017

7-DAY MEXICO & CALIFORNIA

May – April 2017

7-DAY ALASKA

May – September 2016

Roundtrip Seattle

10-NIGHT ALASKA

LAND & SEA VACATIONS

May – September 2016

11-DAY SCANDINAVIA & RUSSIA

May – August 2016

14-DAY MEDITERRANEAN

May – September 2016

This list can't be everything that will be on sale. The original post says all destinations and over 700 voyages and there's no way this list is 700 sailings. I'm hoping for Japan and S. America.

The flyer that these itineraries are listed does say All 6+ Day Cruises in the banner but fails to list more than reported , so we will have to wait and see .

These early alerts to TA's of a upcoming Sale is another reason to use a good TA .

Keeping fingers crossed that partial Panama Canal is included. Have to cancel the one I have booked for March and want to reschedule for November. Going to wait a bit to notify my TA just in case. Would love to get some of those promotions, my March 16th sailing does not have any promos

That is what I am hoping! We are planning a family trip to Alaska in 2017. There will be at least 11 cabins. A good number of the people have cruised Princess before and that is the probable cruise line. Can't say for sure until the schedule releases in the next week or so. But having a great promotion in addition to other perks for those to whom it is applicable makes the choice of Princess even greater.

I'm looking at Alaska for 2017 as well, I believe Princess told me the first of Dec. the Alaska schedule will be out

Schedules are out, they open for booking December 3rd. If you need to see the schedules, let me know and I will post them.

Edited - the schedules are listed here:

Princess probably put restrictions on the OBC because too many people where OBC stacking and then bragging about how they could cash it out in the casino and take it home.

So, Princess change things.

Princess is not the only cruise line to try to stop this practice. Celebrity is stopping it also.

Thanks to the OP for the heads up on this upcoming sale. I just booked passage for 14 days on the CB in January-February 2017. I'm travelling solo so the price was steep. Hopefully my sailing will be on the list of cruises on sale.

I am trying to book two mini suites, one interior, and one S-5 suite for the 12/8/16 Coral Princess Panama Canal sailing. I can't get the cabins I need and the price has gone up in the last few days that I've been working on putting the trip together. I guess I can only hope that this sale will apply to our sailing. Does Princess give any discount for past cruisers? We have taken one Princess cruise in the past. We usually cruise Oceania but since we are taking grandchildren for our 50th anniversary trip, we thought Princess would be a better fit and thought the Panama Canal would be really interesting for them. I had no idea we would have trouble getting cabins this far out!!

If I am reading the original post correctly it means that us AUSTRALIANS don't receive this OBC benefit for new bookings. If that is correct which I believe it is it is highly discrimatory and should be allocated to all nations.

If this is correct I am not going to pursue the 21 day cruise on the Sapphire Princess I was about to book this week. Very annoyed in deed.

I believe Princess is having a sale soon for the Australian regions as I saw the schedule from a online TA yesterday. However, it really only covered local sailings and I didn't see any other benefits. I didn't look at it too closely though.

If you have sailed Princess before and become a member of the Captain's Circle loyalty club you can take advantage of special launch savings and a reduced deposit. You can also receive preferential pricing offers, referral awards, and other benefits.

If you have any information about actual dates, I'd love to hear it. Final payment on my next cruise is due early next year and I'd love one final crack at a re-fare before it's locked in!

Twice As Nice Sale (December 10 - February 29th)

Spending money may be used on a single voyage only, is not redeemable for cash, cannot be used in the casino and expires at the end of that voyage. Offer is not transferable and may not be combinable with other select offers or other onboard credits. Spending money is quoted in U.S. dollars.

I have read most of the comments about the "small print".

I have read the small print in quite a few special offers and they usually have the above statement.

Those who are concerned that they won't be able to stack OBC or that they won't be able to use OBC in the casino can stop worrying. The statement is intended to warn that the few who get the special pricing available for a very few will not be allowed to also get the extra OBC. This applies to almost no one.

Also, OBC isn't segregated by what type it is. It is all lumped into your account and is deducted as you spend it...however you spend it. The non-refundable is deducted first. The refundable is deducted last. Almost the only refundable OBC is the Veteran's OBC.

Would the numbers in the attached chart be the highest or lowest price category for each cabin type? I know the Princess website usually lists the highest fare on the overview page, but I don't know how TA spreadsheets work.

The Fare Chart shows the Lowest rate of the Lowest category for each cabin type (ex: IS, OV, Bal , Mini , Suite)

I can't open it either.

Could someone please copy and paste or put it in a jpg file?

Thanks!

I'm sorry but it is MUCH too large of a document to copy and paste. There are a great number of cruises listed. I also don't know how to put it in a jpg file. Try opening from a desktop computer. It opens for me on my desktop but not on my smartphone.
