I would not want to risk flying in the day of embarkation from any airport during winter

 

I suppose some people wanted to save a vacation day and not fly on Friday. We never fly in the day of a cruise, regardless of the time of year. It's not worth the stress.

Flights out of JFK, LGA (La Guardia), and PHL were all delayed today.

Maybe that's why so many passenger are missing.

We just commented we are worried about flying in the late afternoon of the day before.

 

We are considering flying in two days early for our cruise on the Koningsdam a year from now. In January you can't count on weather up here in Ohio.

I had the best egg salad sandwich on Westerdam. I am very unhappy to hear they did away with the made to order sandwiches.:mad:

According to the FAA site, it's because flights were being held at their origins. (Flights TO JFK, LGA, EWR, and PHL are being held on the way in.) That usually means capacity control in the Northeast.
